Val Chmerkovskiy of DWTS Lets Wife Jenna Johnson Cut off His Ponytail during Quarantine

Dance professional Val Chmerkovskiy decided to get a new look amid the lockdown, and his star wife, Jenna Johnson, was happy to help!

The lockdown is more or less beginning to take its toll on celebrities as some have taken it upon themselves to become DIY groomers.

A new Instagram share from "Dancing With The Stars" alum, Val Chmerkovskiy, showed him getting a whole new look and chopping off his signature ponytail.

QUARANTINE HAIRCUT

In the video, the dance pro sat shirtless in what looked like a walk-in closet in his home while he faced the camera and ran his fingers through his ponytail. Soon enough, his spouse appears, smiling with a black clipper. Her hubby heartily said:

"Quarantine haircut!"

Jenna started by cutting off Val's ponytail before proceeding to smoothly run the wireless hair clipper through her partner's black curls. At a point, the star paused to tell her hubby that he looked "kinda hot" before completely shaving off all his hair.

FANS REACTION

In the end, the star dancer informed fans that he didn't regret it. Just like his wife cheered him after the haircut, Val also received appraisals from his fans. Someone wrote, "Looks amazing! She did so good!"

Blake Shelton was able to go back to the "Mullet" hairstyle, a look he rocked in the '90s.

A second fan added, "Love the haircut, Val, great job, Jenna!!" One fan showed mock disapproval, "Nooooo, I love your hair! It's ok, still handsome." Many other fans were hopelessly romantic as they gushed over the dancing couple.

LOCKDOWN CELEBRATION

Last year, in April, Jenna Johnson and her fellow star dancer, Val, tied the knot, and this year as they celebrated their first year together, it came with social distancing. The duo was, however, unbothered while speaking about their experience so far.

In an exclusive chat with People, the 26-year-old star spoke beautifully of her spouse as she said, "It's been absolutely blissful to have Val as my husband, and I didn't know I could be even more in love with him than I already was…"
