Steve Harvey Celebrates Cedric the Entertainer's 56th Birthday in a Post
Talk show host Steve Harvey celebrated his long time friend, Cedric the Entertainer, with a heartwarming Instagram post as the comedian turned 56, last week.

Steve Harvey recently took to his Instagram page to make his long time pal, Cedric's 56th birthday a memorable one.

Harvey posted a photo of himself with Cedric, where they were all smiles. They rocked stylish formal wear, and Steve had his hand on Cedric's shoulder.
Harvey called Cedric "my Dawg... my dude," showing how incredible their relationship is. The show host went on to acknowledge his friend's presence at crucial points in his life, in the caption, which read:
"...met bout 30 years ago and have made some of the biggest steps in my career right beside this man…"
Cedric Antonio Kyles was born on the 24th of April 1934. He is better known as Cedric, the Entertainer as he is an actor, comedian and game show host.
The star actor is a graduate of Berkeley high school, Missouri. During his time there, he developed a serious rash on his head, and that is why he wore hats most of the time.
He was awarded a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in July 2018.
His very first role was in Apollo theater's "Revival of Wiz" (1995), where he played the part of the cowardly lion, but he is best known for portraying Steve Harvey's best friend in the "Steve Harvey Show," as one of the original kings of comedy.
Cedric has also had some career transforming roles in movies such as "The Barbershop," in which he starred as Eddie walker.
Cedric the Entertainer has made waves in the world of hosting. He won the Richard Pryor Comic of the Year Award for hosting "Def Comedy Jam" and BET's Comic view.
The Entertainer became the host for the popular game show "Who Wants to be A Millionaire," back in 2013. Cedric was the executive producer for "THE NEIGHBORHOOD" and "The Soul Man." He appeared in the two productions.
He was awarded a star on the Hollywood walk of fame in July 2018. Kyles has been a multiple-time nominee for the NAACP image award, and he won one for a Disney Animation: "The Proud Family."
Cedric's brilliance and versatility as an entertainer have earned him a position amongst the world's most renowned entertainers.
