Adrienne Houghton of 'The Real' Shows off 20-Lb Weight Loss in a Black Bikini

Adrienne Houghton showed off her amazing figure wearing a black bikini and revealed the secret to her 20-pound weight loss.  

Adrienne Houghton proudly showed off the amazing results of a lifestyle change she embarked in after saying she’s “had enough.” Posing in a bikini, she flaunted her 20-pound weight loss and opened up about how she got there.

WHY AND HOW SHE LOST WEIGHT

Adrienne has been wowing her fans since she showed up in “The Real” looking healthier and slimmer back in September. She revealed then that she had gone vegan to feel her best as well as combat her autoimmune disease. She also said in a separate interview that she hoped to start a family by losing weight. 

“I’m constantly reminding myself that the greatest form of self love - is self discipline!"

Eight months later, the 36-year-old challenged herself by posing in a tiny black bikini. She admitted in her post featuring her downsized figure that it was the first time she shared a swimsuit photo since losing 20 pounds.

“Staying healthy is at the top of my mind!” Adrienne proclaimed in her caption where she also opened up about her battle with weight loss. She confessed,

“I’ve lost weight before but always gained it back... because I was dieting & not changing my lifestyle!”

However, she said things changed after deciding she’s “had enough” and started taking action instead of constantly complaining. This prompted her to embark on a plant-based diet and completely change her lifestyle to include healthy habits, self-discipline, and working out. She explained,

“I’m constantly reminding myself that the greatest form of self love - is self discipline! They say it takes 21 days to form a new habit... I just want to encourage you to take this time to develop healthy habits!”

MORE HEALTH ADVICE

Adrienne advised her followers to do what she did if they want to achieve optimum health and fitness. This includes drinking lots of water, doing squats, getting plenty of rest, reading, prayers, vitamins, and lots of vegetables.

“It’s a new month! Let’s do this!” she encouraged at the end of her post’s caption. It accompanied a clip of her taking selfies in front of a mirror.

BREATHTAKING IN A BIKINI

Her black strapless bra top and matching bikini revealed her fantastic figure, the result of her painstaking efforts to lose weight and stay healthy.

It’s evident from her post that Adrienne is more than delighted with the results of the hard work. She’s smiling as she viewed her body through her cellphone.

May 1st 2020 🖤 During this time more than ever... Staying healthy is at the top of my mind! This is my first post in a bathing suit since losing 20lbs. Now... I’ve lost weight before but always gained it back... because I was dieting & not changing my lifestyle! But not this time... It’s been a year since I “had enough” (have you ever gotten there? Where you’re just tired of complaining about what you don’t like & you’re finally ready to take action & REALLY make changes!) Well, I made major changes like choosing to eat plant based 🌱 changing my whole relationship with food & working out! I’ve been consistent with my self discipline (although it’s been so hard at times). I’m constantly reminding myself that the greatest form of self love - is self discipline! They say it takes 21 days to form a new habit... I just want to encourage you to take this time to develop healthy habits! LIFE IN QUARANTINE 

Adrienne is currently on home quarantine like the rest of the world. While taking care of her physical health, she’s also nurturing her mind and spirit.

She admitted earlier this month that she downloaded a mindfulness app her husband, Israel Houghton recommended to help her with meditation and prayer. 

She also said she finds peace listening to worship music and derives entertainment from watching light and fun television shows. Adrienne has a YouTube channel called “All Things Adrienne” which she also constantly updates with fresh content.
