The post featured a 10 seconds clip that captured James sitting on a piece of wooden furniture while flashing a heartwarming smile at the camera.
The adorable video was accompanied by a caption that gave a shoutout to people who have been making others laugh during the ongoing quarantine. The caption read:
"We might still be quarantined, but Shirley gonna get these jokes off. Shout out your people who keep you laughing. ??????"
Kaavia's joyful appearance garnered a lot of reactions from her fans, who immediately flooded the post with their comments. One fan noted how beautiful the toddler looked by writing: "Cutie pie smiling and hiding on a beautiful Saturday. Have fun, Kaavia."
A second fan gushed about how much she wanted her own baby girl while another commented that she loved the toddler's smile.
After many rounds of failed IVF and miscarriages, Gabrielle and her husband, Dwayne Wade, welcomed Kaavia James on Nov 17, 2018, via surrogacy.
The cute video came only a few days after Gabrielle Union shared a photo where Kaavia appeared to be sporting a smiley look. While captioning the post with a sweet message about raising her baby daughter, the 47-year-old actress wrote:
"@kaaviajames keeping us on our toes. I swear she's grown so much in the last 2 months, and its wild to be able to actually witness it all."
On Tuesday, Gabrielle is expected to publish her children's book titled "Welcome To The Party." In an Instagram post, the "Being Mary Jane" star explained her inspiration for writing the book.
According to her, the book was written to acknowledge the path of motherhood as well as the creation and expansion of families. She concluded the caption by reminding people that no matter how they choose to run their families, there is always love for them.
While speaking about the book in an interview last month, Union had also explained that the birth of her daughter had inspired her to create stories that represent people across all cultures. She also stated that she aimed to celebrate life and the lessons that come with it through her book.
