The virus worked through the family
Sharing about how she was doing, the mother of three also announced her son’s positive diagnosis. She wrote on Instagram: “After 10 days of ups and downs, feeling good one-day and terrible the next, I am now working hard to get my son, Mario, through the virus."
HOW MARIO WAS TREATED
Cristina confessed at the time that her heart was hearting more than her head over her son’s infection. She shared how she was treating him with her own remedies including “lots of vitamins.”
The “Purist” founder also revealed that Mario’s sense of smell and taste had gone away. She explained how she was feeding him healthy meals that he normally avoided.
CHRIS’ BATTLE WITH COVID-19
The news about Mario’s positive diagnosis came a few days after his father left his self-quarantine in the family basement. The journalist had battled the virus for a month.
REVEALING HIS SON’S DIAGNOSIS
Two weeks ago, hours after Cristina revealed that Mario had contracted the virus, Chris gave a brief health update during an episode of his show. At the time, he was speaking to his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, through video chat.
MARIO HAD MOM’S VIRUS SYMPTOMS
The news anchor lamented: "The virus worked through the family.” He confirmed his son’s diagnosis stating: "It was me and Christina, and now Mario has the same symptoms she had, and he's got the coronavirus."
FAUCI CHECKED UP ON CUOMOS
On Monday’s episode of “Cuomo Prime Time,” the CNN host confessed how Dr. Anthony Fauci kept calling in daily with him and family during their battle with COVID-19. Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
The doctor explained during the episode that he checked in on his longtime friend because "I cared about you, but I was worried about you.”
