La La Anthony Wishes Vanessa Bryant Happy 38th Birthday in a Sweet Post
La La Anthony took to Instagram to wish Vanessa Bryant, the wife of the late basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, a happy birthday and praised her for her strength.
On May 5, La La Anthony took to her Instagram story to share throwback pictures of herself and Vanessa Bryant in celebration of the latter's 38th birthday. Anthony posted a stunning picture of her friend and wrote:
"I love you. Queen. Happy birthday to my beautiful, powerful, and strong friend @vanessabryant."

In the picture, Bryant bared her toned shoulders while her dark, thick, and lush curls framed most of her face, which bore subtle makeup.
In another picture Anthony shared, the two good friends were huddled together in a warm embrace, and they gave cute pouty expressions to the camera in unison.

An older photo of the pair showed them standing by each other's side. Both ladies clutched their purses in front of them and flashed bright smiles for the camera.
La La shared a picture of the late teenager in remembrance.
Following the death of the legendary Lakers' basketball player, Kobe Bryant, and his teenage daughter, Gianna, La La continued to be a true friend to the grieving mother and widow.

On February 24, fans, friends, and the family of Kobe and Gianna assembled to pay their respects to the deceased, and Vanessa spoke. Inspired by the emotional strength she displayed, Anthony took to Instagram and wrote:
"My MVP...I tell you everyday you are the strongest woman I know. The strength I watched you show today is unmatched..."
She added that her friend was an epitome of love and grace. La La concluded the sweet message by assuring Vanessa that she would always have her back, and she professed her love for her.
The memorial service held at the Staples Center brought many luminaries from the world of basketball and beyond.
Famous singers, including Beyonce and Alicia Keys, gave heartwarming performances as tributes. Basketball stars Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan also eulogized their lost friend.
On May 1, 2020, Gianna would have turned 14. La La shared a picture of her son, Kiyan with a basketball. She wrote that the young star was always celebrated and added that her son would honor Gigi.
