Miley Cyrus Reveals First Thing She Wants to Do after Quarantine Is Hug Her Parents

In a recent interview, Miley Cyrus revealed the main thing she wants to do once social distancing is over. She shared that it will include a gathering with her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.

"The first thing I want to do is definitely hug my mom and dad when I get the green light that it's safe," she told WSJ Magazine. "Right now, my mom won't get anywhere near me."

Cyrus, 27, additionally discussed the difficulties of being away from her family in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, how they're staying connected virtually.

FACETIME

"My mom and I pretty much FaceTime from the minute I'm awake until I'm asleep," she explained. "I love that she has nothing to do; so she has to just sit with me every moment, which is like the good old days."

When it came to her father, however, Cyrus quipped that introducing Billy Ray to FaceTime wasn't a simple effort. According to her, they sent him an iPhone that was already set up and has only one button, which is FaceTime, on the home screen.

As reported by E! News, the "Party in the U.S.A." singer launched her Instagram Live series called "Bright Minded" recently. Her fellow stars, activists, and leaders have reached out to her to be a part of it since she created the show.

HER OWN SHOW

Cyrus said that she's extremely engaged with the show. She composes the introduction and inquiries. The acclaimed singer also ensures she knows all the information about the guests.

Meanwhile, Cyrus was included in the Facebook and Instagram list for the virtual # Graduation2020 event, as reported by PEOPLE.

Miley is currently in a relationship with Cody Simpson, 23.

"THE CLIMB"

The star-studded event is a response to the news that traditional commencement ceremonies must be dropped or indefinitely postponed because of the ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak.

Coming to Facebook Watch on May 15, Cyrus will perform her hit song "The Climb." Other celebrities included on the list are Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Garner, and many more.

Miley is currently in a relationship with Cody Simpson, 23. She and Liam Hemsworth had separated in early August 2019.

Miley and Cody have been inseparable since they were spotted kissing at Backyard Bowls in Los Angeles on October 2.
