MCDONALD’S TWO CHILDREN

In 2017, McDonald and her husband, Will Swenson, welcomed a baby girl, whom they named Sally James. At that time, the actress said:

“I’m so lucky. She was such a surprise, and I didn’t think this was where my life would be at the stage. But I’m thrilled to be there.”

McDonald already had a 16-year-old daughter, Zoe Madeline, from a previous marriage when baby Sally joined their family.

Swenson also had two teenagers from his former wife at that time, Sawyer and Bridger. However, the blended family worked well with each other.

Zoe was a good hands-on sister to Sally James since the day she came and always wanted to be around the baby. Similarly, Sally’s face would brighten up every time her big sister was around.

The “The Good Fight” star shared several photos that showed Zoe’s growing years, beginning from her years as a baby until she graduated high school.

PLAYTIME AMID THE PANDEMIC

Recently, the Emmy Award-winning entertainer posted a photo of her toddler enjoying in an HBO box amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“So grateful to have #HBOMaxPlaydate to keep Sally busy this week! Check out @HBOMax @InsideHBOMax to learn about all of the amazing kid (and parent) content,” she wrote on her Instagram.

McDonald mentioned the classic Children’s shows “Bugs Bunny” and “Looney Toons” to be introduced to her daughter. “Remember how we had to wait until Saturday morning to see cartoons?” she ended the post.

BIRTHDAY GREETING

McDonald’s eldest daughter Zoe turned 19 in February and received a sweet birthday tribute from her mom on social media.

The “The Good Fight” star shared several photos that showed Zoe’s growing years, beginning from her years as a baby until she graduated high school.

“This amazing ray of light, sunshine, compassion, brains, grit, joy, and love is 19 years old today. Happy birthday to my precious Valentine Baby,” she wrote.

The post also included one photo of the celebrant playing with her baby sister, in what seemed to be a sweet moment that made McDonald’s heart warm.
