A NEW CHAPTER, A NEW LIFE

But a new magical chapter of his life had just begun, as PEOPLE confirmed that the 31-year-old "Harry Potter" alum and his 28-year-old partner Georgia Groome just welcomed their first bundle of joy to the world.

A rep for the couple dished a few extra details to the publication but requested that people respect Rupert and Georgia's privacy "at this very special time," and added:

"Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl."

THEY ONLY RECENTLY ANNOUNCED THE PREGNANCY

News of their healthy daughter's birth comes barely a month after Georgia, and Rupert first confirmed her pregnancy to the publication.

Georgia, an actress, is best known for starring in the 2008 movie "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging," and according to reports, she and Rupert started dating back in 2011.

Rupert, who more recently starred in the series "Servant," had previously shared his thoughts in 2018 about taking the step into parenting, as he said:

"I'm just going to go with the flow, keep playing interesting characters, and see what happens. I'd like to settle down and have kids soon."

Having already contemplated what he would name those kids, Rupert joked about naming a future son after his character in the "Harry Potter" films, Ron.

LOVE LIVES OF OTHER 'HARRY POTTER' STARS

The first-time dad's co-stars in the popular movies all are in different phases of their love lives. Since meeting in 2013 on the set of "Kill Your Darlings," Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke started dating.

The oh-so tall Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in romantic Italy in May 2018.

Emma Watson's love life took a whole other turn. She dated Chord Overstreet from "Glee" in 2018 for a few months before finding love with a new man, tech CEO Brendan Wallace later that year.

Notoriously private about her love affairs, Emma Watson didn't speak up about their split or when it happened, but she did mention being single during an interview with British Vogue last year.

Her career, however, continued to flourish after the "Harry Potter" films came to an end, and she went on to star in other flicks such as "The Bling Ring," "My Week with Marilyn," and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower."
