Inside 'Moesha' Co-stars Brandy and Countess Vaughn's Feud Which Lasted for over 10 Years
It took Brandy and Countess Vaughn ten long years to bury the hatchet, finally putting an end to their feud that began on "Moesha."
While Brandy and Countess Vaughn played best friends on the hit 90s show "Moesha," that wasn't the case in real life. In fact, the two actresses absolutely did not get along with one another.
Countess played Moesha's bestfriend, Kimberly Parker, on the hit show that ran from 1996 to 2001. She went on to portray the same role from 1999 to 2004 in the spin-off "The Parkers."

CONFIRMING THEIR FEUD
On a 1998 interview with Vibe, Norwood addressed the rumor that the two in fact didn't get along. While she went on to compliment her co-star for her talent and humor, she also acknowledged the fact that Vaughn has humiliated her in front of a lot of people.
After their not-so-subtle beef, Countess went on to star on the reality TV show "Hollywood Divas," while Brandy had her own called "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business."
A HINT OF JEALOUSY
Their feud began when Vaughn allegedly told Brandy that she was the reason why their show was so successful, and not the leading lady herself. Taking offense to this, Norwood felt as if Vaugn simply wanted to be in her position.
"I just feel like she wants to be in the position I'm in. People tell her, 'you're the reason why the show's succesful,' and she's told ME that before."
REKINDLING THEIR FRIENDSHIP
However, after all the painful words have been said about each other, Countess Vaughn recently decided to reach out to Brandy. On Instagram, she wrote a lengthy story about how she's learned not to pit themselves against each other.
"I apologize for anything negative I've ever done [or] said to you... sorry this had to be on social media, I just want the world to know that I've grown out of my comfort zone."
After their not-so-subtle beef, Countess went on to star on the reality TV show "Hollywood Divas," while Brandy had her own called "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business." Now, she is also about to release her seventh studio album called "b7," eight long years after her last one.
