CUOMO'S THROWBACK THURSDAY

The first photo showed Cuomo with two of his three daughters Michaella, 22, and twins Mariah and Cara, 25, as children. They wore bright smiles. The girls wore matching dresses as their hair blew in the wind.

The second picture showed the current day. The gorgeous young ladies posed with their father and grandmother, Matilda, for a photo. All were in black except the older woman who sported a royal blue suit.

A HARVARD-GROWN ACTIVIST

"Then and now. It's incredible how quickly time passes by," wrote Cuomo in the caption. The post received over 100k likes and several comments. Many people couldn't help but admire Cuomo's love for his girls.

One person insisted that Cara looked more like her dad than her own twin sister. The young woman is a Harvard graduate and also an associate at Robert F Kennedy Human rights, a non-profit organization.

Another fan complimented the older woman, too, saying that the girls were as lovely as Matilda. The former First Lady of New York was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 2017.

GOVERNOR FINDS A SILVER LINING

Earlier this week, Cuomo said the only "silver lining" about this pandemic was the fact that he got to spend more time with the girls, who were "forced to come home."

Cuomo shares his three daughters with ex-wife, Kerry Kennedy. The pair were together from 1990 to 2005. The governor joked that his daughters don't think hanging with dad is super cool, though.

UNABLE TO SEE MOM AND DAUGHTER

Of course, he doesn't mind, especially since he wasn't been able to see his mother and one of the girls due to the lockdown earlier. Cuomo opened up back in April about the weight of the situation.

"That on a personal level is very taxing," he said at the time. The governor also had to face a challenge when younger brother Chris contracted the virus.

The journalist has since recovered, along with his wife and their son, Mario. We're sure both brothers are doing their best to stay safe while balancing their leadership roles — our best wishes to them.
