Will Smith Pays Mother's Day Tributes to His Mom Caroline and Wife Jada
Will Smith shared sweet images of him and his mother, Caroline and prepared a hilarious clip for his wife, Jada for Mother's Day.
Will Smith shared two posts for Mother’s Day. One was a sweet tribute to his “Mom-Mom” while another trolled his wife.
Will was clearly grateful to two important women in his life as the day for lauding mothers came. But true to his comedic personality, his tributes were both endearing and funny.

Will’s special shoutout to his mother, Caroline Bright, featured several images of them. Some showed them laughing in candid moments and others were of them sweetly posing together.
Will also featured a photo of him as a toddler being carried by Caroline and another of his mother proudly posing in front of a giant mural of her son. Will’s caption was short but sweet. “Happy Mommie’s Day, Mom-Mom!” he wrote.
Prior to his shoutout to his mother, Will first honored his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith. Unlike his mother’s, Jada’s carried with it a dose of funny.
Captioning a hilarious video montage of Jada and what she has to deal with as a mother, wife and career woman, Will wrote, “ Dear @jadapinkettsmith, Happy Mothers Day.”
He ended his message with the quip, “Love, Your Oldest child, Willard." Willard is the actor's birth name.
Will and Jada have been married for 23 years. It’s an unconventional marriage between two unconventional people. Jada admitted in the past that she recoils at being labeled a wife because it gives her the impression of being caged. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love Will or regrets marrying him.
Unlike some mothers, Jada is happiest when she gets to do the work she loves while parenting. She admitted she’s a better mother when she’s allowed to do the things that she loves.

In fact, Will and Jada are so solid that their marriage has transcended from being husband and wife to being a life partnership among best friends. In 2018, Will explained what this coexistence meant to him.
“We refer to ourselves as ‘life partners,’…where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life…There’s no deal breakers. There’s nothing she could do ― ever ― nothing would break our relationship.”
Will and Jada share two children together, son Jaden, 21, and daughter Willow, 19. As a mother, Jada told People it was important for her to be able to balance her work and family life.
Unlike some mothers, Jada is happiest when she gets to do the work she loves while parenting. She admitted she’s a better mother when she’s allowed to do the things that she loves.
Presently, Jada is enjoying her job as a host of “Red Table Talk” which also permits her to work with her family. Her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris and her daughter, Willow co-host with her.
From time to time, her family members guest on her show, and we learn more about the dynamics of the Smith household. More importantly, we realize what a standup mom and wife Jada is.
