Jon and Kate Gosselin's Sextuplets Celebrate Their 16th Birthday

Jon and Kate Gosselin paid heartwarming tributes to their sextuplets on their 16th birthday. The estranged couple spared no words in declaring love for their kids!

The Gosselin Sextuplets turned sixteen over the weekend, and their celebrity parents, Jon and Kate Gosselin, took time out to share sweet birthday messages.

In an Instagram post by Kate, the doting mother shared a photo of the birthday celebration, which included a box of "Hershey's Kisses" cereals, some party cups, and colorful birthday decorations in the background.

The TV star accompanied the snapshot with a sweet birthday message. She wrote: "Happy 16th Birthday to my half a dozen 'Hershey Kisses,' as they were called at birth!"

The doting mother continued her caption by gushing over how much she loved her children while adding that they were six of the best things to ever happen to her. She continued:

"...They requested 'junk cereals' for their birthday lunch (?!), so I got a bit carried away, as usual, and got them 21 different kinds! ???"

The post garnered several reactions from followers who took to the comment section of the post to share their birthday wishes. One user sweetly wrote: "Happy birthday!!!!! ?" while another surprisingly added: "Happy Birthday! How are they 16 already?!"

In another Instagram post by Jon, he shared a photo that read: "Happy 16th Birthday to Hannah & Collin!!! I miss you, Leah, Joel, Alexis, and Aaden. I hope your 16th Birthday is just as memorable!!! Love, Dad." The proud father shared the photo alongside an equally loving note to his children.

Kate and Jon tied the knot in 1999, and their marriage lasted for ten years before they separated in 2009.

In reaction to the post, many followers of the TV personality flooded his comment section, where they expressed surprise over how grown the sextuplets had become.

Jon, who is in an ongoing custody case with Kate, has since stayed away from the public eye following the couple's divorce. Earlier this year, the father of eight opened up the custody battle. He said:

"I've been through nine attorneys. I've probably spent $1.3 million in court, back and forth with everything else."

Jon currently has sole custody of two of the sextuplets Collin and Hannah, and the other four reside with their 44-year-old mother.

While Hannah still maintains contact with her other siblings, the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star revealed that Collin is estranged from his other brothers and sisters.

Apart from the sextuplets, Jon and Kate also share19-year-old twins, Cara and Madelyn Gosselin. Although the twins are college students, they are currently home with their mother amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
