While it would be the first Mother's Day she would be marking without her husband, Kobe Bryant, and their daughter, Gianna, several people, including Ciara, ensured that she didn't feel too down.
Vanessa's eldest daughter, Natalia, paid tribute to her mother with a collage of photos with the words "I love you momma" written out in block letters.
The singer sent over a thoughtful gift of a bracelet that had the initials of her daughters, including 13-year-old Gianna, who died alongside her father in a helicopter crash.
On the bracelet was "Koko" for Capri, "BB" for Bianka, "Gigi" for Gianna, and "Nani" for Natalia. The mother-of-four showed off the gift through an Instagram Story which she captioned:
"I (heart emoji) you. Thank you @ciara."

In addition to that gift, People reported that the 38-year-old also received flowers from her loved ones and a unique book, titled "Why I Love My Mom" from her daughters. For this Instagram Story, Vanessa wrote:
"I love you so much @nataliabryant, Gianna, Bianka, and Capri! Thank you!"
E! News added that in a post on her own Instagram feed, Vanessa's eldest daughter, Natalia, paid tribute to her mother with a collage of photos with the words "I love you momma" written out in block letters.
With fans and followers showing their support for the Bryant family, ET Online revealed that Ciara was dealing with a lot as regards her third pregnancy.
Besides having to get used to being pregnant during a pandemic, the "Like a Boy" crooner also had to deal with the fact that her man, Russell Wilson, couldn't tag along to doctor's appointments. During a chat with ET's Nischelle Turner, the expectant mother said:
"Russ is going to be not only dad but the videographer and the photographer. He is going to be everything online. But, you know, we are figuring it all out."
Ciara then added that she was more focused on finding the positive in a time where the negative was just so glaring. Her baby, who is due in summer, would be joining her two children, 5-year-old Future and 3-year-old Sienna.
