Meghan McCain Reveals She Won't Share Pregnancy Updates with the Public
Meghan McCain remains largely private about her growing family. She recently said that she will not be sharing with the public any pregnancy updates.
A lot of people have been asking McCain for some new information about her pregnancy. But McCain declined and requested privacy, writing a lengthy post on Instagram.
"I believe children have a right to privacy and hope you will all understand as we navigate this as much as possible going forward without sacrificing our comfort or safety," McCain wrote.

OFF THE RADAR
One reason McCain is keeping her pregnancy off the radar is that she does not want to be a subject of hurtful criticisms. She learned this the hard way, as reported by USA Today.
This started when she opened up publicly about the death of her father, former Arizona Senator John McCain. She pointed out that there were people who poked fun at her father's death in 2018.
"Given that people write on photos I put up of my family they are glad my Dad got cancer and he's in hell," McCain said. "I thought I would leave my unborn child out of the social media cess pool as much as is possible."
A CONSCIOUS DECISION
She was deeply hurt when people mocked the death of her father due to brain cancer. She added that some people have ruined so much online, as reported by People.
The "The View'' host said that it was a conscious decision she made with her husband, Ben Domenech. She doesn't want her family to be the subject of social media attacks.
McCain said her family is thrilled to meet another addition to their clan soon.
A SUPPORTIVE HUSBAND
Some people may find her decision unorthodox because she is a public figure. But McCain said she lives according to the beat of her own drum.
In March, McCain announced on Instagram that she is expecting a child. Following her pregnancy news, she keeps herself extra vigilant with social distancing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, as reported by People.
Domenech has been a supportive husband throughout McCain's pregnancy. The couple is making sure the baby is safe.
McCain said her family is thrilled to meet another addition to their clan soon. As of the moment, she is focused on reminding people through her show, "The View," to stay at home to help curb the spread of the virus.
McCain earlier responded to comments that pregnancy has softened her on "The View." She insisted that she is still the same person as people have always seen on TV.
