Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker are proud parents as they share photos of their daughter standing up against racism, following George Floyd’s death.
The past few days have angered several Americans and people around the globe as the murder of Geroge Floyd by a white cop surfaced online.
While it is no secret that racism still exists in some parts of the world, a Minneapolis cop made it clear that it is still enough to cause death with no remorse.

Many celebrities and public figures, both black and white, took to social media their disappointment and stood with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe are among those who spoke against the indifference in treatment towards men and women of color. They proudly shared photos of their daughter, who partook in the protests.
“And then, just like that.. The tables are turned,” Kodjoe wrote alongside a photo of his daughter, Sophie, and wife in the streets.
Parker also took to Instagram a photo hugging her daughter from behind as they stood in the sea of people who demanded justice for Floyd.
Kadjoe is a good listener whenever his wife has problems or is in a bad mood, bringing comfort to her life.
“As a mom we want to anchor their happiness and confidence and self esteem but can’t always keep up with the insane amount of news/hatred/violence/evil explanations,” she wrote.
THE COUPLE’S LOVE STORY
The husband and wife have been married for nearly two decades and share two wonderful children, Sophie and Nelson.
Parker and Kadjoe first met on the set of “Soul Food” and instantly got along. “For some reason, we connected and found it easy to talk to each other and laugh and be comfortable,” the actress shared.
Before tying the knot, both actors had a long-distance relationship to see if their love for each other was genuine and out of mere comfort from seeing each other on set every day.

Although they have been married for years, the two still find ways to keep the fire alive and fall in love anew every time.
Kadjoe is a good listener whenever his wife has problems or is in a bad mood, bringing comfort to her life. Meanwhile, Parker has a good sense of humor that instantly lifts her husband’s mood when down.
In the past months, the couple and their kids have grown closer while on quarantine at home. Kodjoe has kept himself busy with music, which he sometimes shares with his children.
Among their family activities is a song number where the actor played the drums while his daughter sang a song.
The “Addicted” star also spends his days with his wife, which he often documents on his social media account.
