Joseline Hernandez Is Scared for Her Black Daughter's Future Following George Floyd's Death
Joseline Hernandez reveals her fears for her daughter's future, particularly as a "mother of a black girl" following the recent protests happening against police recent actions in America.
Hundreds of thousands continue to protest against police recent actions and racial injustice in America and some parents are taking a stand to ensure their children don't end up with dangerous futures. One parent who currently fears for her daughter's future is Joseline Hernandez, who opened up about it on social media.
"#stoppolicebrutality as a Mother of a Black Girl I'm scared for her Future! This is the time for black man to stand up and protect their Seed! This is the time for the Black/Hispanic Mother to be Strong!"
FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
While Hernandez is glad to be alive to protect her child from any oppressors, she fears for her future when she is no longer around. That is why as early as now, she feels it's important to stand up and protect the rights of the Black community, so its present and future generations need not experience what others have.
The recent protests were sparked by the death of George Floyd, a Minneapolis man who was arrested for allegedly writing a bad check at the grocery store.
Previously, the reality TV star revealed that being Bonnie Bella's mom is the best gift she's ever given herself. She shares the little girl with ex-boyfriend Stevie J, whom she continues to battle in court over their daughter's custody.
NATIONWIDE PROTESTS AGAINST RACISM
Her fears of Bonnie's future come after members of the Black community continue to die in the hands of police officers, causing massive unrest in major cities in America. Many celebrities and public figures have spoken out about the issue, even taking to the streets to join thousands of others.
Now, Hernandez adds to that growing list, this time adding a fresh perspective as to why it's important to finally put an end to racism. She's also made sure to share other social media updates on the issue, hoping to raise further awareness.
WHAT SPARKED IT ALL
The recent protests were sparked by the death of George Floyd, a Minneapolis man who was arrested for allegedly writing a bad check at the grocery store. Although it was only an accusation, his pleas were not listened to and he was held down on the ground with an officer's knee on his neck.

Despite onlookers' pleas for the officers to release Floyd, the officers continued to keep him in that position for several minutes until he lost consciousness and ultimately passed away. The officer responsible for his death was given 25 years in prison, which sparked further outrage nationwide.
