Pastor Calvin Roberson, popularly known as Pastor Cal on the "LifeTime" reality TV show "Married at First Sight," wrote an emotional post about loving his wife, Wendy.

The definition of love for every individual varies. Just as everyone has a preference for choosing a partner, the meaning and idea of love are different.

Pastor Calvin Roberson, who is popularly known as Pastor Cal on LifeTime reality TV show "Married at First Sight," penned an emotional post for his wife Wendy talking about their definition of love.

Sharing a picture of himself and his wife snuggled together and smiling, Pastor Cal stated that people often spent their life learning how to love themselves and others.

He then alluded that the understanding of love was different for everyone. While some thought of it as a feeling that can be caught, others thought of love as something uncontrollable. However, for him and his wife, he said:

"Then there are others, like me and Wendy, who believe that it's a decision. We believe that love is an intellectual decision we make to fulfill one's legitimate needs."

The marriage counseling expert mentioned that he and wendy and some others like them often took conscious and deliberate effort to love and control how they think.

Pastor Cal stated that it is easy for people to give up and say they had "fallen" out of love than to be accountable and hold themselves responsible for their decisions.

Love is not an illusion, and everyone needed to put in the required effort and seek help if and when the need arises.

He then admonished people saying that one had to be accountable and not blame their actions on the fact that some ethereal force is controlling their action without their consent.

Pastor Cal added that although it was easier for one to attribute their decisions to something or someone else, everyone needed to do better and acknowledge their parts in things they do. He concluded the post saying:

"Love has everything to do with the legacy we leave to the next generation on how to treat each other, but it starts with us."

Calvin Roberson is an ordained minister of the gospel and serves as the pastor at Progression Church Atlanta. With a bachelor's degree from Oakwood University, where he majored in Theology and masters of divinity from Andrews University, Pastor Cal focuses on the marriage institution.

For him, he believes marriage is one of the fundamental institutions needed in society, and he has dedicated his life to helping couples work on their marriage.

Aside from pastoring and marriage counseling alongside his wife, Pastor Cal also serves as one of the judges on the LifeTime reality tv show "Married at First Sight."

According to Pastor Cal, love is not an illusion, and everyone needed to put in the required effort and seek help if and when the need arises.
