Bode Miller's Wife Morgan Pays Emotional Tribute to Late Daughter 2 Years after Her Drowning Accident

Two years ago on June 11, Bode and Morgan Miller lost their baby girl in an accidental drowning. The little girl’s mother took to social media a day before the anniversary to pay tribute to her.

Emeline “Emmy” Miller tragically passed away at 19-months-old in an accidental drowning incident. Her mother, Morgan, 33, showed how much she still mourned the child in an Instagram Stories tribute.

Bode’s wife shared an adorable photo of little Emeline pushing a toy baby stroller with two baby dolls in it. The child looked happy and was smiling in the cute image.

PAYING TRIBUTE TO EMMY

On top of the picture, the former Olympic skier’s wife posed a painful question writing: “How has it already been two years?” She also added: “Today was the last day I heard you say Mama/ Today was the last day we walked hand in hand/ Today was the last day ... I miss you.”

Morgan previously uploaded the photo of the toddler on Instagram in 2018. Emeline drowned in a backyard pool in the Coto de Caza neighborhood of Orange County, California.

TEACHING TWINS TO SWIM

Since her death, her mother has been a staunch advocate for teaching children how to swim from a young age. She and her husband, Bode, 42, are also teaching their identical twin sons Asher and Aksel, 7-months-old, how to swim.

THE MILLER’S OTHER KIDS

The pair were welcomed into the Miller family on November 8, 2019. The Miller’s also parents to sons Easton Vaughn Rek, 20-months-old, and Edward Nash Skan, 5.

MORGAN’S TWO SONS

Easton was welcomed by the Miller’s on October 5, 2018, and was named after Bode's New Hampshire hometown. On May 18, 2015, Edward was born at home; two-and-a-half years after his parents got married.

BODE’S OTHER CHILDREN

Bode also has two more children from previous relationships. He’s a father to son Samuel Nathaniel and daughter Neesyn Dace.

NEESYN AND SAMUEL

Neesyn was born on February 19, 2008, and her mother is Chanel Johnson. Samuel was welcomed on February 23, 2013, and his mother is Sara McKenna.
