Brandy's Daughter Sy'rai Looks like Her in Purple Snake-Print Top and Black Jacket

Singer Brandy’s daughter, Sy’rai Smith, takes to Instagram with two stunning pictures of herself. She showed just how much she looks like her superstar mom.

Singer-songwriter Brandy’s seventeen-year-old daughter S’yrai Smith was a woman on a mission to wow her followers with gorgeous pictures of herself, and she sure succeeded. She posted the photo and accompanied it with a snowglobe emoji in a wordless caption.

In the first photo, Sy’rai was wearing a tight-fitting animal print top. Layered over it was a plain black Nike Air jacket. Her hair was slicked up into a braided ponytail, which she playfully pulled away from her head while posing.

Sy’rai leaned into the camera and struck a pout with her perfectly glossed lips in an adorable doe-eyed pose, staring away from the camera.

The second picture in the slide featured a more relaxed pose with the teenager still looking away from the camera with her lips set apart to give the impression of a candid shot.

Her followers could not resist rushing to the comments section of the post to comment on how beautiful the photo looked, and some even noted the striking resemblance she shared with her mother, referring to her as Brandy.

Sy’rai is gradually easing into her mother’s footsteps.

Being the daughter of one of the most iconic female singers the 90s and early 2000s definitely comes with perks. On June 16, 2019, the teenager turned 17, and Brandy went wild with excitement.

Celebrating her daughter’s new age, she first took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of her daughter and paired it with a lengthy, heartfelt caption. She wrote:

“Happy birthday to my beautiful 17 years young baby @syraismith ?”

She concluded her message by saying Sy’rai’s music would touch the world. The teenager was gradually easing into her mother’s footsteps but, at the time, had not released any songs.

Towards the end of April, almost a year after her mom’s little hint in the birthday tribute, Sy’rai debuted her first single, “At Your Best.” The song was released on April 18, and excellently sampled an Aaliyah 1994 classic “At Your Best (You Are Love).”

Brandy, the ever-supportive mother that she is, took to Instagram to show her baby girl some love and support. She shared a clip of the song’s official audio and asked her fans and followers to check out the song and be supportive.

The singer’s fans were evidently blown away in the comments noting that the newly debuted songstress in the works sounded a lot like her mother. She once again gave a wake-up call to those who still perceived her as Brandy’s baby from way back when proving that she was all grown up now.

Brandy shares her sweet daughter with producer Big Bert, who she separated from in a messy scandal involving a faked marriage in an attempt to save their reputations. With all that in the past, the pair share a mother-daughter bond stronger than anything they have ever shared.
