Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Adopt New Puppy for Her 12-Year-Old Son Maximilian
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are adding another member to their family. And no, it's not a baby announcement.
Last weekend, Jennifer shared a video of an adorable little puppy that the couple had gotten for her son, Maximillian. The clip showed the 12-year-old boy and the dog immediately hitting it off.
Jennifer's video showed Max and the dog playing on the grass, with the dog trying to get a lick of its new owner. Max also appeared to be smitten with his new pet, as he claimed several times that he loved it.

The dog is a cute brown Goldendoodle, and its enthusiasm to meet its new owner is nothing short of adorable. However, there appears to be a slight difficulty — what to name the pup.
Jennifer's post showed Max's sister, Emme, had asked him what he would like to name the new dog. He didn't seem to know. Jennifer went on to caption the post:
"We got Max this adorable lil golden doodle, and we haven't named him yet! ✨What should we name this cutie!? Tyson or Yankee?"
Alex got in on the fun as well. In an Instagram post of his own, he tried to outsource the task to his followers and asked for their input on the naming issue.
Whatever the pup's name is, it appears to have been a social media sensation already. It has its own Instagram account now and has managed to rack up over 13,000 followers.
One significant effect of the lockdown has been the couple's decision to postpone their wedding.
Lopez and A-Rod have been doing their bit to keep fans engaged during this period. The novel coronavirus pandemic has affected them, like many others.
One significant effect of the lockdown has been the couple's decision to postpone their wedding. In an interview from last month, Lopez spoke on why they had to postpone the ceremony. She said:
"I'm a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans, but I'm also like, you know what? God has a bigger plan."
The singer added that she and her fiancé would have to wait and see for now and hope that things get better. However, she also explained that she had planned to take time off, and this lockdown has been just that.
A-Rod, however, appears to be moving forward with a bit of a strategy concerning their wedding. In April, he explained to news sources that they had spoken with representatives for a plan.
In part, he explained that they had developed different plans. These plans covered different possible outcomes over the next year.
He pointed out that they've left everything to chance. As he sees it, things are happening quickly, and it's critical to be fluid as well.
