The casual look was topped off with a long black wig that was covered with her patterned bucket hat. She was standing behind a wooden fence beyond which the blue water stretched out.
Nina Simone's fashion sense is top-notch, and it is no surprise that she gets her style from her jewelry-designer mom. She also takes after her Hip-hop-star dad.
Nina Simone dropped her very first song last year. It was a single titled "Call me." She released the song on her Instagram page when she turned 19.
The song also came with a music video that Nina-Simone shared on her YouTube page. Simone is making her mark just like her mom and dad, but she is not their only child.
Years after they got married, they were presented with a significant challenge in the form of Simone's cancer battle with chondrosarcoma.
LL Cool J and Simone Smith share three more kids, Italia, Samaria, and Najee. Italia, who is the couple's eldest daughter, got engaged back in 2015. Her mom was pleased about the engagement, and she shared the good news via Instagram. In the post caption, she wrote:
"Congratulations to my beautiful daughter and my future son-in-law...I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAN THIS WEDDING!!!!"
Simone herself had her wedding way back in 1995. She and her husband are very close to their children and have taught them several vital lessons. The couple met through a mutual friend in 1987 when they were still teenagers and ended up dating for eight years before they finally tied the knot.
Years after they got married, they were presented with a significant challenge in the form of Simone's cancer battle with chondrosarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
She went through an extensive surgery that took her over two years to recover from, but her husband still stuck with her all through. The two have been married for more than 24 years and are still going strong, and according to them, many compromises got them this far.
