Us Weekly: Julianne Hough Is Having a Difficult Time Coping with Her Divorce from Brooks Laich
Julianne Hough may be struggling amid her split from husband Brooks Laich. Separation is never easy, but the star has a lot of things going for her.
Us Weekly reports that Julianne Hough may be going through it less than a month after she and ex-husband Brooks Laich called it quits in late May after two years of marriage.
The breakup was allegedly a long time coming, but the outlet's source claims that it's been hard on the "Dancing with the Stars" alum. Their comments are found below.

HOUGH NOT DOING WELL AMID DIVORCE
"Julianne's not doing great right now and feels like her brunette hair is a reflection of her feelings," said the insider. She was referring to the new, darker head of hair which Hough debuted last week.
It follows a pink color that Hough rocked briefly after she and Laich shared the news of their split. The source also said that Hough "is super upset" over what happened.
Hough and Laich released an official statement on their split to People in late May. It read, in part, "We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate."
HELPFUL ACTIVITIES DURING QURANTINE
Hough, 31, seemed to be doing well in early May when she spoke to People about self-isolation amid the coronavirus lockdowns. She described herself as feeling "very grounded and peaceful and calm."
The professional dancer pointed to the much slower pace of life which the outbreak had forced on her. Her morning routine includes breathing exercises, meditation, and journal writing.
Hough offers her services as a dancer through her KINRGY classes, which are now being done online. The company teamed up with Light + Fit and recently launched a mental health upkeep app called Working Well.
SOLO QUARANTINES AMID CORONAVIRUS
Before announcing their separation, Hough and Laich revealed that they were practicing solo quarantines in different states. Hough praised her time alone as a great way "to stop and pause."
Speaking to O, The Oprah Magazine, on Instagram Live, she described things as "magical." The actress and singer has always been very independent and extroverted but enjoyed the break.
LAICH STILL WANTS KIDS IN FUTURE
As for Laich, he's spoken up recently about another matter when it comes to relationships. During an episode of his podcast, "How Men Think With Brooks Laich and Gavin Degraw," he revealed he still wants kids.
Laich and Hough never tried to get pregnant while together, yet Laich has always wanted to become a father. The former ice hockey player didn't make time for kids in his twenties, but he's ready now.
HOUGH GIVES MOM HUGE SURPRISE ON MOTHER'S DAY
Back in May, Hough celebrated Mother's Day by dolling out finances to get her mom, Mariann, the ultimate gift — a house. Hough shared the sweet moment on Instagram with two videos and a heartwarming photo.
In the picture, Mariann held onto a large bow as she stood on the front steps of her new home. It came with a picket fence and all. Our heart goes out to Hough and her situation.
