NBA legend Magic Johnson's wife, Cookie Johnson, who is a big fan of family get-together, joined the Father's day social media fever by getting her family together for an adorable family photo.
In the photo, the Johnson clan is all smiles as they are seen posing at the foot of a majestic staircase, in a pyramid shape. Cookie captioned the picture:
"Happy Father's Day from our family to yours! #Blessed #FamilyIsEverything"
The Johnson clan is fond of making public appearances together, spearheaded by the gracious Cookie Johnson. In 2018, Cookie and her husband, Magic Johnson were accompanied by their eldest son EJ Johnson on the opening night of Broadway's "To Kill a Mockingbird."
The trio looked the perfect family as they posed on the red carpet in their bold and colorful outfits. They were later joined on the red carpet by veteran actor Samuel L. Jackson.
The duo initially found it difficult to come to terms with their son's sexuality, but they eventually accepted him...
In August 2019, Cookie got the entire family back together again to celebrate the legendary basketball player as he reached another milestone. Magic Johnson turned 60, and to celebrate his birthday, Cookie threw a classy party atop an expensive yacht.
Magic was ecstatic about the birthday getaway and claimed that all he wanted for his 60th birthday was to have his family around him. The former NBA player also appreciated his wife for the effort. While sharing a post, he wrote:
"A huge thank you to my queen Cookie for putting everything together. I've loved you and been in love with you for over 40 years!"
Magic and Cookie have been married since 1991. The couple share two children, son, Earvin Jr. (EJ), and daughter Elisa. Magic also has a son Andre from a previous relationship.
In 1991, the couple's marriage was hit by a major setback when Magic was diagnosed with HIV. While Cookie admits that the news was tough to take, she revealed that she ultimately decided to stay because she was pregnant with their first child, EJ, who is 29.
Another major talking point in the couple's 28-year marriage was their only son, EJ, coming out as gay. The duo initially found it difficult to come to terms with their son's sexuality, but they eventually accepted him and his lifestyle.
The couple is firmly approaching their 30th anniversary together, and fans are already expecting Cookie Johnson to come up with another memorable family get together.
