Vanessa Williams' Ex Rick Fox Shares Photo with Their Grown-Up Daughter Sasha from Date Night

'Ugly Betty' star Vanessa Williams' daughter and her ex-husband, Rick Fox, shared a heartwarming photo of themselves enjoying a father-daughter date.

Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox played lovers on "Ugly Betty." Off-camera, They had just divorced a year before the hit show aired in 2006.

The former couple has one daughter together, Sasha Fox. Just like her famous parents, she is pursuing a career as an actress and model.

Sasha is a rising plus-size model who has walked the runway for Serena Williams' self-titled fashion collection, "Serena." She has also recently ventured into acting.

For her movie debut, Sasha appeared alongside her father in the holiday movie, "One Fine Christmas." During an interview with Extra TV, Rick revealed that it was the first time they had worked together.

The proud father said that although Sasha had grownup on movie sets for most of her childhood, he and Vanessa wanted their daughter to wait until she was older before they allowed her to pursue a career as an actress.

Sasha admitted that she was wanted to act from a young age. However, she was glad that her parent's decision allowed her to have a normal high school experience before exploring Hollywood.

Despite their busy careers, Rick and Sasha have always shared a close bond. The two occasionally post photos of their special moments together. They have enjoyed everything from going to a theme park to watching a game of professional tennis.

Recently the father-daughter duo enjoyed some quality time when they went on out for dinner for what Rick called a "daddy-daughter date."

Rick revealed that Sasha requested to go to a restaurant called "Wabi On Rose" after she heard about it from people.

Only days before their visit, the restaurant posted a photo of Rick enjoying one of their sushi platers. "Wabi On Rose" took the opportunity to announce their new menu.

It was revealed on their Instagram page that they had added a special sushi roll in his honor of Rick, which they called the "Foxxy Roll."

Vanessa and Sasha have also put their star power on a product they love. According to Essence, in 2016, they were part of the campaign for Proactiv.

It would be the first time the skincare brand had ever used a duo to promote its product. At the time, Sasha was 16 and using the product for teenage acne.

Vanessa had dealt with acne throughout most of her adulthood and said the product had worked after years of skin problems.
