Inside Josh Osmond and Summer Felsted's Intimate Backyard Wedding

On June 12, 2020, Donny Osmond’s son married his girlfriend in a private and small backyard ceremony. Josh Osmond and Summer Felsted, 21, have since opened up about how the event went.

Josh, 22, and Felsted’s wedding ceremony was described as “intimate.” According to the newlyweds, the wedding “turned out perfect” despite having “no one but immediate family” present.

The famous singer’s son explained how having a small group of people worked in their favor. He said, “It made the whole day more personal and special,” and added:

“The wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have even imagined. It was such a fun celebration of this new step we’re taking in life.”

LAST-MINUTE WEDDING CHANGES

The pair had intended on having a wedding at the Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. However, due to the novel coronavirus disease and the guidelines set to curb it, the couple had to “make a lot of last-minute changes.”

Josh explained how the church was canceled including their wedding venue. That led the “Masked Singer” star’s youngest son to host a smaller ceremony.

A GREAT WEDDING DAY

The couple was only allowed to have a “limited” number of attendees. However, that did not stop them from decorating the Osmond’s backyard with many flowers and arbor.

Even though they’d wanted a much bigger event, the pair stated that they “couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day.” The couple was initially engaged in February 2020.

SHARING THEIR LOVE

Josh shared how watching his bride walk down the aisle to the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was “personal moment” and memorable for him. He loved having all the guests focused on their “love and marriage.”

For Felsted’s part, she felt like she “fell in love with [Josh] all over again” when she first laid eyes on him in his black wedding suit and tie. She added: “Josh was so cute.”

LUCKY TO BE MARRIED

The recent bride also confessed that imagining them spending the rest of their lives together “made me so happy.” Josh admitted that he knew he was lucky to be marrying Felsted.

THEIR HONEYMOON

He shared that he also anticipated the happiness they would have “spending our lives together.” The couple spent their four-day honeymoon in California.

ENJOYING MARRIAGE

They both confessed: “We absolutely love being married," and enjoyed being able to wish each other goodnight daily and not have to depart "every night.” Donny, 62, celebrated his son’s marriage by sharing wedding day photos on Instagram.

DONNY’S OTHER CHILDREN

Besides Josh, the musician is also a father to Donald Jr., 40, Jeremy, 38, Brandon, 35, and Christopher, 29. The singer and his wife, Debbie, are also grandparents to ten grandchildren.
