How Cece Winans Celebrated Her 36th Wedding Anniversary With Husband Alvin

Cece Winans and Alvin Love II are 36 years married and are an inspiration to many couples who credit them for bringing them together.

Cece Winans celebrated 36 years of wedded bliss this week and her husband, Alvin Love II had lovely flowers for her. The gospel artist shared a photo of the colorful blooms as she thanked the Lord for their marriage.

“Thanks Bay for my beautiful flowers and thank you Jesus for blessing us with a peaceful home for 36 years! I'm extremely grateful!”

THEIR LOVE STORY

Winans and Love share a love story deeply ingrained in their faith that it’s no surprise their marriage has lasted this long.

As a poster couple for their parishioners, Winans and Love have been instrumental in bringing the single members of their congregation together.

They met at a bowling alley in Detroit when Winans was only 17 and visiting from North Carolina. Winans made an impression on Love even when they didn’t speak a word to each other at the time.

With the help of Winans’ brothers who Love knew before her, Love pursued Winans and they nurtured a long-distance relationship. In less than two years and with the blessing of their parents, they tied the knot.

A POSTER COUPLE FOR THEIR CHURCH

The couple has two grown children, Alvin Love III and Ashley Rose. They also run the Nashville Life Church which they founded.

As a poster couple for their parishioners, Winans and Love have been instrumental in bringing the single members of their congregation together. Dozens of couples are grateful to these two pastors for nudging them towards each other.

Winans told the Tennessean in 2017 that her husband married so many people within their congregation including one of their founding members, Dwan Hill.

Hill was grateful to Love for pushing him to make a move on one of their parishioners and his now-wife, Laura who also credits Winans for urging her to trust in Hill.

It’s plain to see why Winans and Love are currently enjoying their 36th year together. They are not only a blessing to their family, but to many couples who look up to them for guidance and inspiration.
