Al Roker's Only Son Nicholas Towers over the Rest of His Family in New Picture
Veteran journalist Al Roker's only son looks much taller than his parents and step-sister in an adorable family photo, which was shared on the Instagram page of the co-host's daughter, Courtney.
Roker has enjoyed a successful career spanning over decades in cable network NBC, which has seen him showcase his skills in different network divisions, including as a weatherman, feature reporter, and co-host.

Despite his busy work schedule, the "Today Show" co-host is a dedicated family man and regularly dotes on his children on social media. Roker is also famous for sharing his personal family experience, especially on parenting and marriage.
Earlier in the week, the iconic news anchor's daughter, Courtney, followed in her father's usual trend of celebrating his family when she took to her Instagram page to share a cute family photo.
Apart from the beautiful smiles on every member of the family's faces, another striking thing about the lovely family photo is the glaring height difference between Nick, 17, and other family members. Courtney captioned the picture writing:
"Just missing @cleilapatra in this photo."
Al Roker and his wife may be under the employ of rival networks — he's the weatherman at NBC, while his wife is a senior correspondent at ABC News — but that does not take away from their fascinating love story.
Roker and Roberts initially worked together at NBC in the early 90s. After courting for a few years, the pair eventually tied the knot on September 16, 1995, at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in New York.
Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, have been married for 24 years, and they detailed their experiences together in their 2016 book.
The couple shares two children, daughter Leila Ruth Roker, 21 and son Nick, 17, who is a special needs child. Deborah Roberts is also a stepmother to Roker's daughter, Courtney, from his previous marriage.
In 2019 the "Today's Show" meteorologist opened up about the challenges of raising his special needs son. While detailing his parenting journey with his son, Roker wrote:
"...Deborah reminds me that I have to show my son not only that I love him but that I like him as well. More than that, I admire him."
Al Roker also credits his wife for helping their son pull through the challenges associated with his condition, which the father of three describes as somewhere on the spectrum and a little obsessive-compulsive.
While he claimed that his son is doing a lot better than he and his wife had imagined, Roker still believes that he requires more patience in handling his son.
Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, have been married for 24 years, and they detail their experiences together in their 2016 book, "Been There, Done That: Family Wisdom for Modern Times."
Roberts revealed that the secret of their marriage is the deep love and respect they share for each other, and it is evident that it has helped them build a tightly knit blended family.
