Ll Cool J's Wife Simone Models an Orange Face Mask and Asks Fans to Stay Safe and Cute Amid the Pandemic
LL Cool J's wife looked stylish in a t-shirt and ripped jeans as she lounged in her backyard while wearing a face mask and encouraged fans to stay safe.
LL Cool J's wife, Simone Smith, recently celebrated 16 years of being cancer-free. She paid tribute to the doctor and a nurse, who had been by her side during her difficult journey.
She shared a photo with Dr. Athanasian and a nurse she referred to as Ro. In a heartfelt message, she said the medical professional had been a blessing in her life.
At the time, she was dressed in folded ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, and a head wrap. Days after her visit to the doctor, Smith sported a similar style as she relaxed on the patio furniture in her backyard.
She completed her look with a pair of orange and black Nike sneakers and gold jewelry. While wearing a red face mask with an orange butterfly printed on the side, Smith wrote in her caption, "stay safe! Stay cute!"
Smith revealed that she got her face mask from Jody Davis Design. One person commented, "you are cute, and I love Jody's mask!" Another fan gushed over her accessories and teased, "give me those kicks and that mask!"
"So fly, stylish and effortless looking. Now that's greatness," wrote one user. While other fans complimented her long ombre braids, Tina Lawson praised her for her slim figure. The two women shared a pleasant exchange of words.

In 2004, she was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma; a rare type of bone cancer.
Smith's advocacy for health by encouraging people to wear facemasks was not the first time she used her platform to support a worthy cause.
In 2004 she was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma, which is a rare type of bone cancer. Simone admitted that she cried for days after her diagnosis.
She shared in an interview that encouraging words from her grandmother helped her face the diagnosis head-on. A year ago, she launched a campaign called "Beat Cancer Like A Boss." She has partnered with her husband to channel proceeds from her jewelry line, "Simone Smith," to the "American Cancer Society."
In April 2019, she led a public service announcement in support of her campaign. In one scene, Smith celebrated her journey and explained her motto saying, "Boss is battling cancer by finding your inner strength."
The video featured celebrities such as Mary J. Blige, Jordan Sparks, Karrueche Tran, Salt N' Pepa, and Jhene Aiko. The women gave empowering statements about what it means to be a boss.
