"Empire" Star Gabourey Sidibe Showcases One of Her Many Masks in a New Selfie While Outdoors

Gabourey Sidibe from 'Empire' showed off one her face masks that had a printed design, which she said was from her growing collection of masks.

When it comes to accessories, Gabourey Sidibe enjoys showing off the different styles and patterns of head wraps that she often wears to celebrate her African Heritage.

It is an accessory that she has worn to complete her outfit at Hollywood events, and it also something she has opted for while relaxing in her home and taking selfies amid quarantine.

The actress has found another favourite accessory from the growing collection of face masks she has gathered while taking all the necessary precautions to protect herself from the COVID-19 outbreak.

"At this point, I have so many cute masks that pandemic or Nah, I"m gon wear 'em," Sidibe wrote. In a photo, she sported an embroidered design with beads and a pineapple patched on the side.

Many of her fans commented on the photo are shared their admiration for the printed design. One person wrote, "that mask is cute, but I'm loving that shadow a lil more."

Another person added, "Yes! The new fashion." As the compliments poured in, a user also said: "imma need the link for that one asap ma'am." Her co-star, Tasha Smith, also inquired about ordering the same type of face mask.

Although one fan commented that the material for the mask looked a bit thick, when it comes to face masks, Sidibe also goes for more conventional styles.

In a rare photo with her boyfriend Brandon Frankel, the two looked adorable wearing masks as they headed out.

In March she wore a mask with a denim color and showed it off while posing for a selfie in her car. At the time, she shared she was excited to come across a store that has tissue paper, but still felt "unfulfilled" that she couldn't find her beloved plantains.

The "Empire" star has been very vigilant about wearing face masks, whether she is going shopping or to a meeting, her mask is something she proudly displays.
