Machine Gun Kelly Takes a Step Back as He Mourns the Death of His Father Amid Hotel Diablo Album's Anniversary
American rapper Machine Gun Kelly has expressed his sadness on his recent loss. The entertainer shared a moving tribute in honor of his late father.
Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Richard Colson Baker, posted a tribute to his late dad, who recently passed away. The post showed a series of images and clips. First, it featured an edited throwback image of the artist as a child.
Another snap was a neck and head image of Machine Gun Kelly, who had part of his tattooed back on display. More than one video of an on-stage performance from the rapper was equally posted on his Instagram page.

He explained that when he wanted to begin the celebration of his "Hotel Diablo" album, he received news of his father's demise.
The 30-year-old confessed that he is sad about the news, and thanked his fans and well-wishers for their unrelenting love. He wrote:
"...but my father took his last breath this morning, and I've never felt a pain this deep... thank you guys for everything."
Lovers of the rapper sympathized with him via the comment section. Some used heart emojis and praying hands, while others expressed themselves with words.
One fan wrote, "I'm so sorry we can't even imagine… Much love... you're loved by your fans." Reportedly, Kelly's dad's cause of death was not related to the novel Coronavirus.
As a dad, he feels rather lucky to have an obedient daughter, unlike how he behaved during his early years.
However, Machine Gun Kelly still feels hurt, and while pouring his heart during an interview, the 30-year-old explained that his dad, who was hospitalized in Denver, recently revealed to him that he is a huge fan of his sound.
The rapper, who has also starred in "Birdbox," was in the news a while ago, over a rumored romantic involvement with Megan Fox, who starred in "Transformers."
The "Hotel Diablo" star is father to daughter Casie. Before his dad's passing, he shared how it felt to reconnect with him after being estranged for a while.
Machine Gun Kelly mentioned that he was emotional when he set eyes on his dad after a long time. The entertainer expressed that he was a recalcitrant child and would love to tender an apology to his dad.
