He explained that when he wanted to begin the celebration of his "Hotel Diablo" album, he received news of his father's demise.

The 30-year-old confessed that he is sad about the news, and thanked his fans and well-wishers for their unrelenting love. He wrote:

"...but my father took his last breath this morning, and I've never felt a pain this deep... thank you guys for everything."

Lovers of the rapper sympathized with him via the comment section. Some used heart emojis and praying hands, while others expressed themselves with words.

One fan wrote, "I'm so sorry we can't even imagine… Much love... you're loved by your fans." Reportedly, Kelly's dad's cause of death was not related to the novel Coronavirus.

As a dad, he feels rather lucky to have an obedient daughter, unlike how he behaved during his early years.

However, Machine Gun Kelly still feels hurt, and while pouring his heart during an interview, the 30-year-old explained that his dad, who was hospitalized in Denver, recently revealed to him that he is a huge fan of his sound.

The rapper, who has also starred in "Birdbox," was in the news a while ago, over a rumored romantic involvement with Megan Fox, who starred in "Transformers."

The "Hotel Diablo" star is father to daughter Casie. Before his dad's passing, he shared how it felt to reconnect with him after being estranged for a while.

Machine Gun Kelly mentioned that he was emotional when he set eyes on his dad after a long time. The entertainer expressed that he was a recalcitrant child and would love to tender an apology to his dad.

As a dad, he feels rather lucky to have an obedient daughter, unlike how he behaved during his early years, making it difficult for him to have a close relationship with his dad.
