Josh Brolin and Wife Kathryn Announce They Are Expecting Second Child

This week, Josh Brolin’s wife, Kathryn, took to social media to announce some exciting news. She revealed to her followers that she was expecting her second child with the actor!

Kathryn, 32, posted a lovely image of herself and her daughter, Westlyn Reign Brolin, 1, sharing an adorable kiss while she held the little girl in her arms. Her growing baby bump was visible in the image.

She captioned the post writing: “The Brolin’s are a growin’ !!” Revealing when she was expecting to give birth, Josh’s wife added:

“Our little December babe is on the way....”

JOSH’S OLDER CHILDREN

The “Avengers: Endgame” actor and Kathryn have been married since September 2016 and she is his third wife. Josh, 52, also has two adult children from his first marriage to Alice Adair, also an actor.

The former couple share daughter Eden, 26, and son Trevor, 32. The “No Country for Old Men” actor and Kathryn faced some serious backlash in April 2020, amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.

BREAKING COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

The duo went out of self-isolation, to curb the spread of COVID-19, to visit Josh’s father, James Brolin, 79, and stepmother, Barbra Streisand, 78. The actor’s followers weren’t pleased with the couple breaking safety guidelines at the time.

VISITING MOM AND DAD

The criticism caught Josh’s attention and he took to his Instagram account to apologize in a video. He explained how his father and stepmother lived next door to them.

WANTING TO SEE JAMES AND BARBRA

The star shared how he and Kathryn had intended on seeing James and Streisand but hadn’t planned on being near them. However, when they got there they broke the plan.

SHOWING WESTLYN THE POOL

Josh explained that they were visiting to pick something up and then ended up showing their daughter her grandparent’s pool. He and his wife don’t have a swimming pool on their property.

AN IRRESPONSIBLE MOVE

The star admitted that the move was “irresponsible” and revealed that the backlash had humbled him. He apologized for the mishap and promised to do better.

SHARING THEIR LOVE

Streisand also took to her Instagram account to share a photo of Kathryn holding up a sign outside of her home. The plaque read: “We (heart) you Gamma & Grampa.”
