'Basketball Wives' Star CeCe Gutierrez Marries Byron Scott in a Live Streamed Ceremony

Reality star CeCe Gutierrez tied the knot with former basketball star Byron Scott amid the novel coronavirus in a small private wedding.

"Basketball Wives" star CeCe Gutierrez and her beau, three-time NBA champion, Byron Scott, did not let the novel coronavirus stop them.

The couple tied the knot in a small intimate affair with their friends and families live streaming from their own homes.

Gutierrez shared a series of pictures on her Instagram to share the good news and give her fans and followers a glimpse of the ceremony. In the first of her posts, the newlywed wrote:

"Today I married the love of my life, my best friend, my soulmate…"

The post was a slideshow of three photos. The first of the three showed a stunning Gutierrez in a marvelous strapless mermaid-style wedding gown made by Netta BenShabu, according to People.

The second photo featured the husband and wife across each other, and the last photo featured the dashing groom, who also shared celebratory posts, in a classic black tuxedo and bowtie.

The new wife made sure to thank those who helped make her big day happen, sharing a video of the ceremony, including moments they exchanged their vows and danced together. Her caption thanked the team that put the event together, with heartfelt gratitude.

In one of her more recent posts of the big day, Gutierrez, an operating room nurse, admitted that the pandemic concerns made them unhappy about how their wedding would go. The beautiful bride explained:

"Our hearts were just a little heavy when we had to cancel our wedding plans but we are so happy to be blessed."

She thanked her friends and other well-wishers who made sure to reach out to her with their blessings, kind words, and love.

Gutierrez concluded her message of gratitude by saying that she wanted her friends, family, and fans to continue to love and pray for one another, assuring them that they would all get through the challenging times together.

Apart from significantly restricting their guest list on their special day, the husband and wife also made sure to wear face masks, keeping theirs and everybody else's safety a priority.

Now that Gutierrez and her handsome husband are joined in matrimony, the two look as happy as two clams hopelessly in love. Theirs is a love story everyone loves to hear.
