See Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Response to a Troll Who Made Fun of His Baby Boy Beckett Mercer's Name
Actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson did not let an online troll go scot-free after the individual made fun of the name of his new baby boy whom he welcomed with his lover, Justin Mikita.
Celebrities are not new to judgments from internet users. Sometimes, these critics may notice something and subtly infuse it in the comment section as a piece of advice. Often, they backlash the celebrity and cut across as rude or insensitive.

Ferguson recently welcomed his first and only child with his partner, whom he has been married to for seven years. Both men decided to name their son, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, after his delivery.
This did not go down well with an internet user who commented on the joyous news by trolling the infant under a shared post. The person wrote:
"What a stupid name seriously, lol."
Without hesitating, Ferguson shut down the troll with a message of harmony and love; then the new father took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a headline that applauded his response, before writing:
"Sometimes it's just fun to poke the trolls… They flock to social media like a moth to a flame when LGBTQ people get married or have children..."
Fans of the actor rushed in hundreds to show their unrelenting support via their comments. One fan congratulated the couple while supporting Ferguson's stand. Some even shared a few parenting tips for the new parents.
While some trolls may not agree with Beckett Mercer's name, his parents are in awe of the name as it holds a significance to their bond.
The baby shower came shortly after they announced on James Gordon's talk show that they were expectant parents.
They revealed that Mercer is a street in New York, where they exchanged their vows seven years ago. The couple is thrilled to begin this new journey.
Before their bundle of joy arrived, they threw a lavish baby shower and invited many celebrity friends like Sophia Vergara, Betty Who, Lisa Rinna, and Jen Atkins.
The baby shower came shortly after they announced on James Gordon's talk show that they were expectant parents. Once their son was born, a representative mentioned that the couple were ecstatic.
Mikita confirmed the news by showing gratitude to the medical experts of Summerlin Hospital, where Beckett was delivered.
