John Travolta and Kelly Preston's Family Life – Meet the Couple's Three Children

John Travolta and Kelly Preston were one of Hollywood's rare long-lasting couples. Before passing, Kelly helped raise three gorgeous children.

John Travolta and his two living children will forever mourn the death of their first son, and now of mom and wife Kelly Preston, who passed away in July 2020. John and Preston were together since September of 1991.

Preston had been battling breast cancer for two years — a fact she kept from the public until her untimely death at age 57. Before leaving this world, she gave fans a legacy in the form of her children.

JETT TRAVOLTA

Soon after tying the knot, John and Preston welcomed their first son, Jett Travolta, in April 1992. He was a special needs boy who had autism, and Jett's family gave him all the love in the world.

Unfortunately, the family endured their first tragedy when Jett passed away at just 16 after suffering a seizure during a family vacation to the Bahamas in 2009.

Both John and his wife talked about their loss over the years. "Nobody should have to lose a child. It's unfathomable," Preston told the Huffington Post in 2012.

ELLA TRAVOLTA

John and Preston supported each other as well as their daughter Ella, who was born in April 2000. Ella decided to follow in her parents' footsteps and became an actress.

So far, she's found great success and has the support of a proud dad. Her first film credit was in 2009's "Old Rose." In 2019, she played Emily Rose in the thriller, "The Poison Rose," which also starred her father.

After her mother's death, Ella took to social media to pay a touching tribute to Preston. "I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you," she wrote.

BENJAMIN TRAVOLTA

When the family lost Jett, nothing helped them heal like their second son, Benjamin Travolta. Born in November 2010, the little one was the bundle of joy the couple needed to see the light again.

Benjamin is now nine years old and would sometimes join his parents and sister on the red carpet. His father has listed his interests as fishing, tennis, gymnastics, and computers.

KELLY TRAVOLTA'S LAST POST

Unsurprisingly, Preston's final social media post was about family. Shared in late June, she wished her husband a Happy Father's Day and included a family portrait and a throwback photo with son, Jett.

John announced his wife's death online, noting that he would be taking some time alone to be with his family as they go through what is undoubtedly a difficult time.
