Galyn Görg, who appeared on several hit shows and films, has died at the age of 55 after losing her battle with cancer.
During her 55 years on earth, Galyn Görg enjoyed a dance and acting career that surpassed many people’s imagination. According to her official website, the late actress was known for her involvement in television, film, and live performances in theaters that allowed her to travel across several countries such as the Middle East, New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada.

As an actress and dancer, Galyn worked with entertainment stars that included Will Smith, Viola Davis, Amy Poehler, Stevie Wonder, James Spider, Jason Robards, Keanu Reeves, and Cuba Gooding Jr.
Later in 1996, Galyn appeared on an episode of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” where she acted as the woman, Helena, who knocked Will out in a boxing ring.

The actress also earned credits in shows like “CSI: Miami,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “How to Get Away With Murder,” and “Xena: Warrior Princess.”
The actress's name popped up in the news after The Sun reported that she died on July 14 — just a day before she would have celebrated her 56th birthday.
It has been recorded that Galyn died of cancer that spread through her body and lungs with her GoFundMe page disclosing that, “The doctors claimed she only had days maybe a week to live, and after remaining optimistic and praying for a miracle, she has sadly passed.”
In a statement obtained by E! Online, Galyn’s representative, Sheila Legette, revealed that, “Galyn had been very private about her battle with cancer the last 9 months. But remained positive and continued to enjoy life in Hawaii.”
Sheila added that Galyn, who “loved the ocean,” had an energy that was felt in any room that she entered. Noting that the actress died in a Hawaiian hospital, Hollywood Reporter recalled how flawless her character in M.A.N.T.I.S. was.
Galyn played the role of police detective Leora Maxwell on the short-lived Fox sci-fi drama before she appeared on three episodes of “Twin Peaks.”
