Three weeks ago, the Award-winning actor started a Work From Home Snapchat series titled "Will From Home." His most recent episode, as seen on his Instagram page, features some of the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' favorite cast members.

Will Smith confirmed that a spin-off of the comedy series was in development, through Westbrook, his co-owned production company with wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that the cast also used the episode as an opportunity to pay tribute to late actor James Avery, who starred as the Banks family's uptight but soft-hearted patriarch, Phillip Banks.

James passed away in 2014 at the age of 68 due to complications from open-heart surgery. Much of the cast at the virtual reunion still seem friendly, and they have all been doing well in their chosen careers.

In 2015, Hollywood Reporter published an update report on the stars of the sitcom to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary.

The article reported that DJ Jeffrey Jazz, who starred as Will's best friend on the show, was active on the music scene and had released several EPs and mixtapes.

Alfonso Ribeiro, famous for his role as Will's dorky cousin, Carlton Banks has, on the other hand, established a career as a TV host.

Daphne Maxwell Reid and Karyn Parsons, who starred as Will's aunt Vivan Banks and the not so smart Hilary Banks, respectively, have both left the acting scene as well.

Will Smith, who the sitcom was centered around, has since the last episode of the show become a household name in Hollywood.

Despite their different paths, Will still considers them his BFFs as reported by Variety in an article on the group's reunion lunch date to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the sitcom's final episode.

In 2018, Essence shared that many rumors have surfaced about a reboot of the 90's sitcom. However, nothing was confirmed until the following year.

According to Metro, Will Smith confirmed that a spin-off of the comedy series was in development, through Westbrook, his co-owned production company with wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
