Gisele Bündchen Greets Her Twin Sister Pati on Their 40th Birthday
Supermodel Gisele Bündchen shared adorable childhood photos with her twin sister Patricia as she marked their 40th birthday.
The Brazilian beauty penned a touching note to go along with the sweet throwback shots, which she shared with her 16.1 million fans on Instagram. She wrote:
“Today Pati and I get to celebrate four decades of being alive on this amazing planet! How lucky I was to be born with my twin and best friend!”
Gisele, who shares two children with husband Tom Brady, added that she is thankful to all the people who have joined her on her life journey.
A Brazilian of German descent, Gisele was born in Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil. Aside from her fraternal twin, the iconic model has four sisters - Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, and Rafaela.
She and her family planned a trip to the rainforest in Brazil to plant trees for her birthday but plans changed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
As reported by People, Gisele regularly gushes about her twin sister in public. Last year, she also shared a loving tribute to her sister on their birthday
The iconic model also wrote that she is grateful for the life experiences that have shaped her identity. She added that she will use her experience from the last 40 years to serve the world and help make it better.
The Versace model went on to say that life itself is the greatest gift. The post has received more than 600,000 reactions in less than an hour.

Aside from being a model, Gisele also dabbled in acting. She played a supporting role in 2006’s “The Devil Wears Prada.” More recently, in 2016, she made an appearance in the documentary series, “Years of Living Dangerously.”
As reported by People, Gisele plans to have 40,000 trees planted in the Amazon rainforest as part of the celebration of her birthday.

Doing charity work appears to run in the family. As reported by Daily Mail, Gisele previously shared that her 10-year-old son wants to celebrate his birthday by donating to charity.
Meanwhile, the model received a sweet tribute from her husband on the occasion of her birthday. Brady shared an adorable family photo, and wrote up a poem for the caption.
The 42-year-old football quarterback called his wife “sunshine of my life” and “apple of my eye.” He also assured the mother of his two children that she will stay forever in his heart.

Earlier this year, Brady also paid a tribute to his wife on their 11th wedding anniversary. The football star shares a series of photos, including one from when they met for the first time.
The couple first met in December 2006 on a blind date set up by their mutual friend. Giselle said that from that date, she knew he was the one for him.
