GREG VAUGHAN IS TAKEN

Sadly for a large group of people, Vaughan is off the market. He is engaged to Angie Harmon, the 47-year-old actress best known for playing Detective Jane Rizzoli on the TNT show “Rizzoli & Isles.” He pooped the question in December last year in the middle of a holiday vacation.

Both actors were previously married. In Harmon’s case, she and former NFL player Jason Sehorn tied the knot in 2001 and split in 2014. Vaughan, on the other hand, was married to Dutch actress Touriya Haoud between 2006 and 2014.

[Vaughan’s] character, Eric Brady, had not appeared in the show since 2000.

VAUGHAN USED TO BE A MODEL

Before landing his first acting gig, Vaughan worked as a model. His career began when he was 16 years old, and after graduating from high school, he even modeled for Giorgio Armani in Italy.

He also walked the runways rocking famous brands like Versace, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and so on.

GREG VAUGHAN’S FIRST ROLE AS AN ACTOR

After a very successful career as a model, Vaughan moved to Los Angeles to try to make the transition to acting. Fortunately, in 1996, he landed his first acting gig on the TV show “Baywatch.”

From that point on, he kept getting cast to projects like “Malibu Shores,” “Beverly Hills, 90210,” and “The Young and the Restless.”

GREG VAUGHAN JOINED "DAYS OF OUR LIVES" IN 2012

In 2012, three years after Vaughan ended his very successful run in “General Hospital,” he joined “Days of Our Lives.” His character, Eric Brady, had not appeared in the show since 2000.

When Vaughan announced his departure from the "Days," he made clear that it might also be a break for the series. It makes sense, especially because it was reported in November last year that all the actors were released from their contracts due to an “indefinite hiatus.”

VAUGHAN HAS THREE CHILDREN

Touriya Haoud and Greg Vaughan share three kids – all boys: Jathan, born on May 4, 2007; Cavan, born on January 19, 2010; and Landan, born on March 5, 2012.

At the moment, the actor is working on the OWN TV series “Queen Sugar.” He is playing Calvin, a police officer involved in a romantic relationship with Nova Bordelon, a Black Lives Matter protestor.
