Kelly Rowland Shares a Fun Throwback Photo with Michelle Williams and Beyoncé – Here's Why
Kelly Rowland has shared a fun throwback showing her with former bandmates Beyoncé and Michelle Wiliams, for a very special occasion.
Kelly Rowland has shared a stunning photo of herself with former "Destiny's Child" bandmates, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams.
The picture shared on to the Grammy winner's Instagram page was taken in 2018 and showed the famous trio in a "Charlie's Angels" pose as she celebrated Williams' birthday.
It's great to see how close the three still are, especially as Williams was not an original member of the group, joining in 2000 after LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett left.
At the beginning of her career, Williams was a bit apprehensive since she was only confident about her singing. During an interview in 2002, she said,
"I was nervous, very nervous. I hadn't danced and I took dance, I went to a performing arts high school, but when it came time to dance, I chose to sell the tickets for the show."
But she was a perfect match for the girl band and debuted with the classic Destiny's Child song, "Say My Name."
The band quickly became globally loved, selling out concerts and consistently reaching the top of the billboards. However, in 2006, they decided to break up.
A source revealed that the group had been in discussions about getting back together.

In news that will thrill all Destiny's Child fans, recent rumors have surfaced that seem to hint at a possible reconciliation.
A source revealed that the group had been in discussions about getting back together, with Beyoncé reportedly seriously considering it. They said:
"Nothing has been signed off yet, but as soon as a vaccine is ready and the pandemic is over, watch out for an announcement."
Rowland has also been busy with her upcoming album but is using this time to enjoy some personal time too.
Earlier this month, the star was spotted indulging in some retail therapy in Beverly Hills, wearing a mask, of course.
She also recently appeared in the teaser for Beyoncé's visual album, "Black Is King" which is set to premiere on July 31 on Disney Plus.
As fans wait for an announcement of their reunion, this would not be the first time they have performed together since their split. They graced the stage together in Coachella in 2018.
