World-famous actress and singer Jennifer Lopez turned 51 on Friday and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez honored her on the special occasion with a moving tribute on social media.

The video impressively highlighted fun memories of the actress and their life together along with this love-filled caption where he revealed a sweet nickname for her. He wrote:

"Happy Birthday, Macha!!! Every moment with you is magical. You are the greatest partner,the best mom, the most amazing performer. A role model. A hero. An inspiration."

The actress who couldn't help but feel loved with the enviable social media post replied in the comments section, recounting that it was a blessing to be celebrating with her "baby."

As it turned out, the couple had been forced to put their wedding plans on hold because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. Lopez confessed to feeling disappointed about the whole thing.

People Magazine recalled that the star actress who had turned up the heat for her 50th birthday last year with her 'It's My Birthday' tour had chosen to go for a quiet celebration this year with just family and few close friends.

Alex, who gifted Lopez with a red Porsche for her birthday last year, had popped the question earlier in March 2019, during their romantic vacation about two years after they started dating.

As pointed out by Today, Lopez who's currently a judge on "World of Dance" alongside Derek Hough and Ne-yo, recently opened up to fans and viewers about the origin of her iconic nickname "J Lo" during a commercial break, on the CBS reality dance show.

The actress and singer had explained that it all started when Heavy D got in the habit of calling her 'Jenny Lo' or 'Jennifer Lo' as she had been working on her first album at that time, after which she got the idea to name her first album J Lo.

As reported by Daily Mail, it's quite clear that the two-time Grammy nominee has been very busy in the past year. Apart from Instagram pics showing off her stunning physique, to promote her shoe line, the singer recently dropped some teasers hinting fans of upcoming music.

That's not all as the longtime celebrity also starred in the romantic comedy 'Marry Me" alongside Owen Wilson, which was filmed between October and made a bid for the New York Mets together with Rodriguez in November last year.

As it turned out, the couple had been forced to put their wedding plans on hold because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Today recounts.

Lopez confessed to feeling disappointed about the whole thing as she and her former Yankees baseball player fiancé had been planning the nuptials since their engagement last year. However, she explained it wasn't keeping her down as she has been keeping busy as a judge on "World of Dance."

Per Insider, the "Hustler" star had been a judge on American Idol and also a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. She also participated in the 2008 Nautica Malibu triathlon, completing it in less than 3hours.
