Princess Diana's Niece Lady Amelia Spencer Is Engaged — See Her Gorgeous Ring

Lady Amelia Spencer, the 28-year-old niece of the late Princess Diana, recently got engaged to Greg Mallet. She showed off her beautiful engagement ring in a post made by her fiancé, on Instagram.

These are happy times for Lady Amelia Spencer, the daughter of Charles Spencer and niece of Lady Diana, following her engagement to Greg Mallet. Greg announced the engagement in an Instagram post.

Accompanying Mallet's post were pictures of himself and Amelia sharing kisses and hugs as well as her beautiful wedding ring. Amelia's father also reacted to the engagement via a tweet, writing:

"So happy for my daughter...it's wonderful to hear them both so excited about their future."

Spencer further wished Greg and Amelia well as they prepare to spend the rest of their lives together. He added that he loved the fact that Greg asked for his blessing before proposing to Amelia, describing it as being very sweet.

Spencer added a picture of Greg and Amelia to his tweet, once more showing the latter's beautiful engagement ring and the couple's happy faces.

Lady Kitty got engaged to a 60-year-old multi-millionaire.

Amelia's family is already fond of Greg and consider him to be part of their family. This could be seen in the comment made by her sister, Lady Kitty. She wrote, "Brother-TO-BE!!!! Happiest times ahead."

Greg proposed to Amelia in Stellenbosch, South Africa, while he and Amelia were at the Clouds Wine & Guest Estate. The couple met in the rainbow nation during their days as students at the University of Cape Town.

Amelia is one of Charles Spencer's seven children whom he had from three different marriages. He married Victoria Lockwood in 1989 before their divorce in 1997.

With her, he has four children, including Lady Kitty, who has a striking resemblance to the late Princess Diana. Spencer and Lockwood's other children are Amelia, and her twin sister, Eliza, and their brother, Louis.

Spencer married Caroline Freund in 2001 and had two children, Hon. Edmund, and Lady Lara, with her, before their separation in 2007. He married Karen Gordon in 2011, and they have a daughter, Lady Charlotte Diana.

With this engagement, Amelia becomes the latest Spencer sister to get engaged, following Lady Kitty's engagement to 60-year-old multi-millionaire, Michael Lewis.

It would be recalled that in 2011, Amelia, her twin sister, Eliza, and Lady Kitty attended Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.
