Ryan Seacrest Celebrates His Dad Gary — Inside His Touching Tribute

TV show host Ryan Seacrest is sending out a heartfelt appreciation to his father, Gary, on the occasion of his birthday.

Yesterday, Seacrest shared a few pictures of his father in an Instagram post. The photos showed Gary Seacrest in his most jovial and relaxed form; whether at a formal event or just having some downtime with his family.

The first picture showed father and son at a formal occasion. Both men were decked out in tuxedos, although Papa Seacrest chose to go for the tie and blazer while his son had on a bowtie.

Apart from his work on TV both on and off the camera, Seacrest has become famous for his megawatt smile. Apparently, he seems to have gotten the signature smile from his father. Appreciating his father, Seacrest captioned the post,

“Celebrating a man who enjoys the simple things in life….all while wearing a suit whenever possible. Happy birthday to the best dad, husband, and g-pa!”

The other pictures in the post featured some other Seacrest family members. These included Seacrest’s mother, Connie, and his sister, Meredith. Seacrest’s niece, Flora, also made an appearance in one of the pictures. Everyone was seen sporting brimming smiles.

Sadly, Seacrest hasn’t been as lucky as his parents in the love department.

While Seacrest has built a reputation for being incredibly busy, he appears to always have time for family. He celebrated his parents’ 50th wedding anniversary earlier this year with a post that was just as sweet as this.

The post included two pictures of his parents — one on their wedding day, and another of them recently. In the recent one, Papa and Mama Seacrest looked as in love as they did 50 years ago.

Sadly, Seacrest hasn’t been as lucky as his parents in the love department. The TV show host recently called it quits with his girlfriend, Shayna Taylor. Seacrest and Taylor have been dating on and off for years now.

The couple first started dating in 2013, but they called time on the relationship a year later. They reconciled again years back, and things looked serious when they moved in with each other in 2017.

This was at the time Seacrest landed his role on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” Sadly, they split in February 2019 again. After reconciling yet again last September, they’ve decided to go their separate ways for the third time.

It’s unclear whether they will get back together at this point. Seacrest has admitted to being unable to open up about the breakup. Hopefully, he finds love soon.
