On July 26, the 36-year-old "Bluebird" singer took to Instagram to express her happiness after her song topped the Billboard chart. Lambert said it has been 8 years since she topped the charts. She wrote:

"Turns out we did have a wildcard up our sleeve."

Other musicians and friends joined Underwood in sending words of praise to Lambert. Among them were Marina McBride, Tanya Tucker, and Karen Fairchild from "Little Big Town."

There’s no wonder why Lambert’s song landed at the top chart. "Bluebird" has optimistic and delightful beats. It speaks of forward-moving solutions and has no drama.

As reported by Taste of Country, the song is about moving on to another chapter of life. Of all the tracks under "Wildcard" album, "Bluebird," is Lambert's favorite.

The song was released on August 15 last year, while the album hit stores in November 2019.

Aside from Lambert’s lengthy message, many fans took notice of the photos she shared in her post. The first photo was from her "Bluebird" music video while the other one shows the singer in a polka-dot swimsuit while sipping a drink.

In the first part of her message, Lambert wrote that 2020 had not given her any reason to celebrate. But news of her song topping the charts was a delightful surprise that needed celebrating. She said:

"I’m celebrating happiness and the feeling of artistic freedom in a time where we all feel a little caged."

Even if she feels isolated because of the coronavirus pandemic, she remains grateful that husband Brendan Mcloughlin is there for her all the time. Lambert has been quarantined with McLoughlin.

The couple secretly married in January 2019. They were able to celebrate their first wedding anniversary just before the lockdown started.

For Lambert, the pandemic is a good test for newly-married couples, saying that it can deepen relationships amid the anxiety and uncertainty.

But Lambert, like most people, also had a hard time adjusting herself to the way of life during quarantine. To make things a little lighter for her, she and McLoughlin took their trailer vehicle - a 2020 Airstream Globetrotter - out on the road.

The trailer was her latest addition to her vintage trailer collections. While on the road, the couple was able to rescue a kitten on a Texas highway.
