See How Cookie Johnson Paid Tribute to Mother-In-Law Christine on Her 85th Birthday

Cookie Johnson recently took to Instagram where she penned a sweet note to her mother-in-law, Christine who recently turned 85.

Magic Johnson's wife, Cookie, recently paid tribute to her mother-in-law, Christine Johnson on her 85th birthday.

Taking to Instagram, Cookie shared adorable photos where she was seen posing alongside Christine on different occasions.

The first picture featured both Cookie, who rocked a black dress, and Christine, who donned a beautiful lacy dress.

The second slide featured a family photo that included Cookie, Magic, Christine and her husband, Earvin Johnson Sr. The images were accompanied by a sweet caption that read:

" You are the best Mother-in-law a girl can have; I thank God for you every day. Enjoy your day. Love you❤❤"

Cookie's post was met with touching comments from fans and followers who also wished Christine a happy birthday.

Born Earvin Johnson Jr. on August 14, 1959, Magic was welcomed to the family of Earvin Johnson Sr. and Christine Johnson.

The couple was spotted on the red carpet with EJ, who identifies as a gay man.

Over time, Magic has continuously proved that despite his fame and success, his love for his parents remains the same.

Earlier in the year, Magic took to Twitter, where he shared a photo of himself and Cookie striking a pose with Christine. In his caption, he wrote:

"I'm so happy my mother is in town to visit me."

Along with his parents, another group of people Magic holds close to his heart is the family he has created for himself. In September 1991, Magic tied the knot with Cookie and the couple shares two children — Earvin "EJ" Johnson III and Elisa Johnson.

While EJ is the biological son of the couple, Elisa was adopted in 1995. In addition to the two kids, Magic is also a father to Andre whom he welcomed with a woman named Melissa Mitchell.

Over the years, Magic and his wife have made several public appearances with their children and in 2018, the couple was spotted on the red carpet with EJ who identifies as a gay man.

Last September, Magic, and Cookie both celebrated their 60th birthday with a lavish party held in St. Tropez, France. Throughout the party, the couple was seen having a wonderful time together and even today, there's no doubt that they still make each other very happy!
