Check Out These Rare Photos of Snoop Dogg and His Queens, Grandmothers Tate and Minnie

Snoop Dogg recently honored his grandmothers with some throwback photos accompanied by a sweet note dedicated to each of them.

Snoop Dogg has once again proven that family is everything to him. The rapper recently paid sweet tributes to two of the most important women in his life — his grandmothers.

Taking to Instagram, Snoop shared a throwback polaroid snapshot of himself with his paternal grandmother, grandma Minnie.

In the adorable photo, grandma Minnie was seen rocking a floral jacket which she paired with a brown hat. Wearing a red t-shirt, Snoop sported a slight smile as he stood behind his gorgeous grandmother. In his caption, he wrote:

"Me with my grandma. Minnie?????. Queen of the vanardo. Tribe ☝?✨??"

In a separate post, Snoop paid tribute to his late maternal grandmother, grandma Tate who passed away a few years ago.

The rapper shared an old picture of himself sitting on a chair alongside grandma Tate, whom he described as the Queen of the Tate Tribe.

Snoop is also related to professional wrestler Sasha Banks.

Snoop's sweet tribute to his grandmothers garnered several reactions from fans and followers who took to the comments section.

While several users chose to express love for the picture by leaving emojis, Snoop's wife, Shante Broadus sweetly wrote:

"I Love And Miss You Grandma Tate ??????"

Although Snoop and his wife are currently one of the longest-running couples in Hollywood, they have had their share of tough times.

In 2004, Snoop reportedly filed for divorce from Shante, but their divorce never came through. The rap legend later admitted to having been caught up with the glam and glitz of Hollywood.

On January 12, 2008, Snoop and Shante renewed their vows in an elegant 200-guest ceremony held on Charlie Winston's 20-acre ranch. The duo initially married in 1997 and has since welcomed three children — sons Corde and Cordell and daughter Cori.

In addition to his kids with Shante, Snoop is also a father to son Julian whom he welcomed from a previous relationship with a woman named Laurie Holmond.

While Snoop has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry, he is not the only famous person in his family or the only one who has a knack for music.

The rapper is a cousin to singer Brandy and her brother Ray J and rapper and record producer Daz Dillinger.

Snoop is also related to professional wrestler Sasha Banks and rapper Nate Dogg who passed away in 2011 following complications from multiple strokes.

Despite his fame, Snoop maintains a close relationship with most of his relatives. This legendary rapper truly understands the importance of family.
