Kim Fields From 'Living Single' Posts a Photo With Her Son Sebastian and Gives Parenting Advice
"Living Single" star Kim Fields showed fans how much of a great mom she is in a recent post with her son, Sebastian, while also giving advice on parenting.
In the 90s, actress Kim Fields played the role of the vibrant care-free gossip-loving Regine Hunter on the Fox sitcom, "Living Single."
Decades after that era has passed, the 51-year-old actress is now a proud mom to her sons, Sebastian and Quincy.

In a recent post of a snap with her son, Fields wrote: "Evening thought... Parents, never forget: we can learn from our children. I can't tell you how much I've learned from this treasure, Sebastian."
Still on the topic of learning from her 13-year-old, Fields revealed that Sebastian had dropped so many gems into her soul. He is one of the most dynamic and prolific beings she has ever known.
The actress felt honored to be the mother of such an amazing kid. She wrote that even though he was only 13, his mind was much older and wiser. She concluded with hashtags encouraging her fans to learn from their kids.
The photo the actress posted showed the young and wise Sebastian standing by his mother. He wore dark sunglasses with an animal print mask slung below his chin.
Fields wore a blue baseball hat with her mask hanging below her chin as well. Her message seemed to resonate with fans and followers who agreed in the comments and praised the teenager's maturity.
Many of Fields' fans who had been a part of her life and career remembered how it seemed not so long ago when she welcomed Sebastian into the world. They marveled at how fast the teenager had grown.
She thought she was getting pre-menopausal or simply down with the flu.
On May 4, 2007, Fields and her then-boyfriend, Christopher Morgan welcomed their little bundle of joy, Sebastian. Confirming the news to People, a representative for the couple said:
"[Her pregnancy and delivery were] trouble-free, sickness-free, very smooth, perfect. Fields said 'Oh, my God. He's gorgeous.'"
Sweet Sebastian was the first child for Fields and Morgan who eventually married later that year in July after being together for a couple of years.
Six years after Sebastian was born and following numerous trials for a second child, including two miscarriages, Morgan and Fields finally got their wish. Their miracle baby, Quincy arrived on December 3, 2013.
At the time, Fields was already 44 and had just about given up the dream of having a second child. She even admitted that when she first started getting pregnancy symptoms for her second child, she thought she was getting pre-menopausal or simply down with the flu.
After a trip to the doctor's, it was discovered that the flu was, in fact, a baby. The family was overjoyed with their perfect December surprise.
Fields played Tootie Ramsey on the television show "Facts of Life" and Regine Hunter on "Living Single." In July, the actress hinted at the possibility of a "Living Single" reboot but until then, being the best mom and learning from her kids are two of the many things she has put her mind to.
