See How La La Anthony Sent Love to BFF Vanessa Bryant on Late Husband Kobe's Heavenly Birthday
In a touching post, former MTV star La La Anthony sends sweet love to her girl Vanessa Bryant, paying tribute to her late NBA star husband Kobe Bryant who would have turned 42 on Sunday.
Former MTV VJ, La La Anthony recently shared a beautiful post to celebrate her friend, Vanessa Bryant and also pay tribute to her NBA star husband on what would have been his birthday.
The photo she shared showed the two friends standing in the pool. Vanessa rests her head on edge and smiles as she takes the shot.

Lala is pictured standing behind with her head on her friend's shoulder in a cute BFF pose as the lovely picture also takes in the blue skies and green trees behind them. Along with the throwback pic of both of them having fun in the pool, La La praised her friend's strength and resilience, writing:
"On Kobe's birthday today, I celebrate you ...I know today is extra tough but your strength, love, & resilience is unmatched. I've never seen anything like it."
Recounting how she always loved hearing her friend laugh, the 39-year-old entertainer added that she wishes her more happiness and laughter, as she sweetly assured her friend that her late husband and daughter were still with her.
The New York Times best-selling author wrote, "Kobe and Gigi are smiling with you every step of the way. I got your back. NOW. FOREVER. & ALWAYS." She ended her caption with a birthday greeting for the late Kobe, letting Vanessa know she loves her as well.
Vanessa quickly took to the comment section to send her love to her girl writing "I love you" and some kissy-face emojis.
Nike commemorated the NBA star's posthumous birthday by releasing a unique ad, "Better|Mamba," featuring rap star Kendrick Lamar to launch their "Mamba Week."
The sweet post also garnered comments from well-known names like Khloe Kardashian, Adrian Balone, and DJ Nice who were not only full of admiration for the friendship but also praised La La.
Vanessa earlier shared a heart-melting tribute to her beloved husband of 19 years, whose death on January 26 left many deeply shaken. Bryant lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, that also claimed the life of his 13-year-old daughter and seven others.
In honor of her 'baby', the 38-year old mother posted a video that included short clips of special moments of his life, along with a very touching message in which she spoke at length about how much she misses her husband.

Lamar honored the basketball icon whose nickname had been "Black Mamba", observing through his lyrics that "Kobe taught us to be better".

In addition to that, the Lakers released a reel highlighting beautiful moments that the star shared with his fans and family. The basketball icon had played with the Lakers all through his 20-year NBA career and won five titles for the team.
