Tarek El Moussa Turns 39 – See Why the 'Flip or Flop' Star Thinks It's His Best Birthday Yet

Tarek El Moussa had a memorable weekend trip to the beach. He shared that it was the best birthday celebration he has ever experienced in life.

TV show host Tarek El Moussa, who just turned 39 on August 21, took to Instagram to express his gratitude to his fiancée, Heather Rae Young, for arranging a special occasion in a hotel in Laguna Beach. He said:

"I’m happier and healthier than I’ve ever been, my kids are thriving, and @heatherraeyoung makes me feel special every day:)"

In the photo he posted on August 24, the “Flip or Flop” star said that they had a boating activity in Newport Beach. They planned to anchor by the Emerald Bay.

El Moussa was treated earlier to a relaxing spa and a fun shoot inside a firing range with friends. He also celebrated his birthday with his two children, Taylor Reese, 9, and Brayden James, 5.

After declaring that it was his best birthday celebration, El Moussa reflected on his life, sharing that he has been given a second chance at a happy life and that he will not waste it.

The HGTV star shared that he had experienced traumatic events in the past. As reported by ET Online, El Moussa said that he was happy and comfortable being alone.

But when Young arrived in his life, El Moussa realized what he had been missing. He credits the 32-year-old model for bringing him back to life.

Even though they had to end their past marriage, Christina has remained friends with El Moussa.

Young and El Moussa's whirlwind romance started in July 2019 while boating with their mutual friends in Newport Beach.

The next month, El Moussa confirmed his relationship with Young on Instagram. He penned a message about how he found happiness after three years of being alone.

He also described the moment he met Young, saying that he felt butterflies in his stomach and knew right away that she was the one.

After a year of dating, El Moussa proposed to Young during an intimate dinner by the beach on July 26. He updated his fans on Instagram about his proposal with the hashtag, “#FlippingHerLastName.”

The announcement delighted not only El Moussa’s fans but also his ex-wife and co-host, Christina Anstead. She congratulated his ex-husband for the new chapter of his life.

He and Christina were previously married until their separation in 2016 and divorce in 2017. Christina is now happily married to “Wheel Dealers” host Ant Anstead.

Even though they had to end their marriage, Christina has remained friends with El Moussa. Recently, Christina posted a funny video she captured of her ex-husband.

She shared on Instagram a hilarious clip of El Moussa applying make-up all by himself while inside a van. Many fans laughed at the video, which garnered 500,000 views on Instagram.
