Reese Witherspoon Shares a Rare Photo of Her Daughter Ava Phillippe — Do They Look like Twins?

This might be a cliché but some parents literally give birth to themselves. In a recent social media post, actress Reese Witherspoon showed some love to herself, my mistake, her daughter.

On Tuesday, Reese Witherspoon, 44, showed some love to her daughter, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, 20, by sharing a lovely sunny photo of her. In the image, the young woman smiled while seated at a table.

Showing how much she loved and adored her child, the actress captioned the post: “I know she’s my kid but I’m pretty much obsessed @avaphillippe.” The picture could have anyone making a double-take at first glance.

TWINNING WITH AVA

Looking at the photo, anyone could mistake the young woman in it for Witherspoon. A side-by-side view of the mother and daughter duo will have you thinking they’re twins.

Besides her oldest child, the actress is also a mother to sons Deacon Reese Phillippe, 16, and Tennessee James Toth, 7. She shares Ava and Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

REESE’S LASTBORN

Her lastborn is shared with her current husband Jim Toth. The “Legally Blonde” actress and the talent agent were married in 2011.

Ava is currently a student at the University of California in Berkeley. During a previous interview, Witherspoon confessed how hard it was for her to watch her eldest child leave their home.

While on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” the actress confessed: “It's hard. I never imagined how it felt for my mom.” She sort-of admitted to going into her daughter’s room and laying down on her bed to cry on the day she left for college.

While her oldest child is getting further education, her teenage son is pursuing a career in music. Deacon released his newest single, “Long Run.”

Showing support for her son, Witherspoon shared a video of herself dancing along to the track. It’s safe to say little Tennessee is also focusing on his schooling.
